  • The local store accepted it and swapped to a fully charged Nitrogen used tank.
I read the reviews on amazon, there are some negative reviews about it. So I was very hesitated. But after doing some research, I realized this the cheapest deal I can found. So I decided to give it a try. 1. The tank is solid and the certificate is April 2026. I was thinking to refill it as it is brand new. Then the price of filling is more expensive than swapping tank. My local gas chain store has a couple locations in my area. I have no problem to swap the tank into a fully charged used tank which certificate is 2025. 2. One thing I regret is that I should buy the 40 cubic tank. Because the price for 40 cubic swapping is $53 while 20 cubic swapping is $48. Only $5 difference!!! But since I already swapped it, it would be too much trouble to return and buy a new 40 cubic tank. 3. some review misled me as it says the tank is using tefon tape. Come on. I found out all the tanks in local store are using tefon tape. Also, whatever you will swap the tank into a used one, who cares it as long as the local store accept the tank. ... show more

  • Not the value you might think it is as the bottle are outdated.
Before purchasing, check the cost of hydrotesting a bottle. These are outdated bottles and will have to be hydrotested before they can be filled. This particular one was eleven years old. I would not have purchased one if I'd known they'd have to be tested as the additional costs brought the overall cost to nearly the price of one of the local retailers 40 bottles and I could have immediately purchased a filled one. As it is, I have to wait for over a week to finally get mine tested and filled. If you buy a bottle here, be sure that it isn't outdated as the additional cost may make it costlier than just purchasing one locally. I gave it three stars, as for now, the testing may reveal something different, it is a new bottle and if passing testing will be useable, but not the value I thought it would be. The cost of filling a 20 bottle or a 40 bottle with nitrogen is the same amount. ... show more

  • Check first
The tank looks OK, but none of the gas companies in my area fills thanks. They only exchange tanks and don't carry 20 cuft.. I returned it.

  • Not a good deal
Valve is of unknown quality & installed in tank using teflon tape a big bozo no no! A.N.S.I. specifies the valve be installed in a nitrogen high pressure tank as follows : very hand tight ; metal to metal no teflon or supplemental sealers ; on new valve 3 to 3 1/3 full revolutions; then leak tested per A.N.S.I. procedure. Your playing with an object that can kill you! Thought I'd save money but it was only $10.00 more between this bottle & having it tested and filled vs. Buying one from the Local industrial Gas dealer filled and ready to go with no wait swap when refill needed & with high quality valve that will not keak or bleed off. ... show more

  • Solid Nitrogen tank for HVAC
Ordered in Sep 2025 and received a tank with a Jun 2025 manufacturing date. No flaws in the paint and the valve feels nice and solid. No leaks after having the tank filled. Size is perfect for pressure testing HVAC and the price was right. Works as expected.
