My new camera arrived about four days ago, and having tried it out in a variety of conditions, I am very pleased with its performance. I am well aware of the limitations of small cameras with tiny sensors, so did not have unrealistic expectations. Sure enough, it struggles to give good results, if conditions are less than bright. However, when there is plenty of light it responds very well indeed. It is easy and convenient to use. Bought for my lady and she loves it, handy and easy to use (much better than a fiddly smartphone). Picture quality is very good and it is so small and can be slipped in a pocket or handbag. quick-on-the-draw 'pull it out' and quick snap, leaves me in second place, with my more expensive camera. Maybe my photos are slightly better quality, but you would have to examine very closely to see the difference. it doesn't overdo the complexities which other cameras 'suffer' from, has plenty versatility, but you don't need all that fancy stuff, this camera cover most of your needs to take a good photo. ... show more

I'll be honest I'm no camera expert. We bought this because the wife wanted to do a bit of travel vlogging and wasn't happy with using her phone.So we wanted something easy to use, produced good quality video, was small enough to carry around, had (in the wifes words) a flippy screen for doing selfies and wasn't too expensive.And so far it's ticked all the boxes.Battery life seems good.Quality of the video on this thing is great.Much sharper than what we are able to capture on our Samsung S9/S10 phones.Basically just point and shoot.The recorded sound quality is excellent too.So far very happy. ... show more

    • Wifi ability wasn't possible
I wanted the camera because of the wifi capabilities to easily transfer the pictures. The instruction book provides a QR code for an app you cannot access. I asked for help with Amazon support and they too were unable to get it to open. Will be looking for a new camera.

    • Shuts off when disconnected from charger.
This camera, in terms of photo quality, is pretty good. However many things are not good, starting with the fact that unless it's charging, connected to the wall, it won't turn on at all...At first I thought it was because of the SD card not being in (and if you do buy this don't just search "SD card for camera" and expect it to work, it does require a specific type of memory card, a TF card.) but even when I put the card in, it didn't work. I figured I should charge it first, and then see, and after the amount of time it said would likely result in a full battery (3 hours), I checked it and great, it worked. The settings were good, the quality was great, everything was fine, until I unplugged the charger and everything shut off. I plugged it in again, and it was like everything was fine (the settings I had put on there had reset, annoying but not that big of a deal). This was annoying, as even when I tried to plug it into my computer it still would not turn on. The Wi-Fi app that is supposed to help control the camera from your phone doesn't work either, for it only connected for a few seconds and then disconnected. I'm going to try and see if there's anything I can do to fix this, but for now, don't buy this camera. Just spend the extra money on buying a higher quality one. ... show more

I was shopping for inexpensive 4K quality digital camera with video recording option and this one stood out among others in this class. I also like this camera because it comes with 2 batteries as well as external charger so that I can charge one battery while the other one is being used. There are many similar cameras that comes with 2 batteries but if you look at them carefully, they don't come with external charger, which means you can only charge the battery while it's inside the camera and by plugging the cable into the camera. This is horrible design because imagine that the battery is low while recording video or taking pictures and you will be able to switch to your fully charged 2nd battery to continue your video recording or taking pictures but you will not be able to recharge the drain battery since you are still using the camera with the 2nd battery. Once the 2nd battery drains then you now can't use the camera until the battery is charged again. This is the reason why you need to have an external battery charger and this camera is one of the rare ones that provides it. Good job!But this is just one great thing about this camera and it's just the start. The camera is very lightweight and slim for portability yet it feels solid and comfortable in my hands. All the buttons and controls are easily accessible by thumb and index fingers. It has big 3 inch LCD screen that's very bright and clear even when viewing outdoor and it shows the date/time and all the picture settings on the bottom of the screen. Oh, this screen can be flipped out to face the front of the camera so you can see yourself when taking a selfie or using it as a webcam. It would have been amazing if the LCD screen can also rotate up and down so you can take see the LCD screen from the top or bottom. It would have been amazing if it also had a view finder in addition to the LCD screen.The picture quality is very impressive at 48M pixel and it can also support 4K video recording at 30FPS.It doesn't have any optical zoom so it's fixed lens but it does have up to 16x digital zoom (I tend to not use the digital zoom because it lowers the image quality). It also support slow motion and time-lapse recording as well as pause and continue recording so it doesn't create separate video files.I also appreciate that it comes with camera lens cover that can be easily attached and removed by pinching the 2 spring loaded inserts on the cover. It also includes 32GB memory card, which is rare in other digital cameras so you are pretty much ready to use this camera as soon as the battery is fully charged. The wrist strap and soft storage pouch is also a nice tough. I'm so impressed with this camera that I would give 10 stars if I can. Do not buy any camera without external battery charger because you will regret it. Get this digital camera if you are looking for high quality 4K resolution at awesome price! ... show more
