These lights are great so far, installed 9 of them using different brightness levels for kitchen, dining room, and bath in less than 15 minutes (after removing BR30s and rings). Just screw in the light and pop the springs in and snug to the ceiling! Works awesome with Lutron dimmer with no flicker!

Easy installation, I ordered 48 lights only 2 didn’t work. Good odds, would buy again. I installed all the lights in about an hour. I bought an extra 12 for the future if needed.

The price is right is my main selection criteria, because in the end, the toughest part is to remove the old bulb, canister, cut the wires on the ballast, and connect the right wires, and finish it up with a turn on the switch. The good: Very very very bright. Wow, are these bright. Works well with a dimmer. Easy to install. The selectable color temperature is a great idea and works well. The I’m not sure: Very deep recess and pronounced baffles, so they look like the 20 year old fixtures I am replacing. Really not sure I like that. The not good at all: the fixtures were packed loose in a large box, they all rubbed against each other, and they all have abrasions on them. Bought the 12 pack during Black Friday. Changed out all the recessed 2700k warm light to these 5k daylight. Loves the bright daylight in the kitchen and bathrooms. No longer the gloomy feel from the 2700k darker lighting. At about $4.50 each, it is cheaper than changing the old CFL bulbs.
