Household Essentials ashwood modular wide shelves are a set of long and low, free standing shelves with 3 shelves. The wide shelves are Braced, and supported by black metal side frames. The metal side frames have round feed to protect flooring. The sturdy shelves are made from a Gray laminate surface that is strong, beautiful, and easy to care for. Ideal for storage and display, this low shelf provides storage under windows, mirrors, and large Clocks. It's also the ideal height for common areas to have ample storage without blocking a room's line of sight. A friend and I built it together, and it mostly went well until we had to secure the legs in place. When securing the legs, the holes were not deep enough for us to screw in using the Allen wrench provided to us. As a result, we needed to find a drill to secure it on our own. I really like the style of this table … very modern. It arrived without damage. But the assembly was a bit tedious. For such a simple look, they managed to overdo the amount of screws, etc. for the number of pieces. They also did not provide any covers for the lock screws but luckily those are located almost out of sight. Very nice and sturdy bookshelf. Easy to assemble but pay attention to the screw holes for board E as they are only on one side of each frame. I’m using this as additional pantry space in an office and placing the food and snack items in fabric baskets. It serves it’s purpose and looks great.
