This item looks super attractive and seems to be well made. However, despite buying the one size smaller than the 8'x10'... its pretty heavy. I did not take it out of the packaging because I know I have to return it because its too heavy to wash in a washer at home and I don't want to lug it to the laundromat all the time. So if you bought this because of the machine washable label, it does look like you can, but I wouldn't risk this particular size on my own washer and breaking the tub or to achieve a very decent clean from it. I would say anything smaller than their 5'x7' should be safe to machine wash. ... show more

This rug is even better in person. The colors and pattern are so nice. It's light weight cleans up easily. I can't speak on the machine washable feature bc I have not done that yet, but it does vacuum easily.

I bought this rug to try and save a lil money as I have purchased several highly expensive Ruggables that are very durable and machine washable. This was very pretty but it is not at all machine washable. As soon as I went to put it in the wash the first time I realized it was way to heavy, bulky and big to fit in my newer machine let alone a laundry mat machine. Please do not make the mistake in buying this if you think it is machine washable. You may be able to fit one of these in your washing machine if it is under 5x7, but nothing bigger than that for sure. This is very misleading and false advertisement. I will be returning as the whole purpose of buying this was for the ability to machine wash it. I have pets and that is very important to me. Looks like I am going back to Ruggable for a new 8x10 rug that I can actually wash. I guess the saying you get what you pay for is true. ... show more
