    • Large, Soft, Nicely-Designed Area Rug

This area rug is luxuriously soft under foot. It is faux cashmere and feels just as soft as actual, real cashmere. The main downside to this rug is it's thin construction. The rug is thin enough that it arrives in a case like a comforter since its folded up into rectangles. Regardless of arriving folded there were no sharp creases when the rug was unfolded. There were rounded creases which eventually flattened out over time. I purchased a separate carpet pad to cushion the feel and it makes a huge difference in terms of comfort. The colors and pattern are neutral /abstract so it should fit right into most interior decorating styles (I chose the brown rug). Vacuuming it is easy. I use suction only, turning off the beater brush, and it cleans up quickly without snags or catching on the vacuum. You can fit the entire rug into your washing machine if spot cleaning doesn't work. I am sure it would be even softer and fluffier after a wash and tumble dry. Quality of construction is very good - there aren't any loose threads or fibers and no patchy or bare areas and the vacuum doesn't pull up bits of the carpet either. This is a nicely-designed carpet that is well made, is super soft to the touch, and is neutral in color and design to fit nearly any interior decorating style. ... show more

Great purchase. The rug is pretty big and soft. No harsh smell. Also, although it was folded, not wrinkles or creases are on the rug when I unfolded it .
