    • Great buy!
After buying and returning two soundbars at my local Best Buy that were more expensive, I did more research online and found this one. It has much better sound quality than the other two that were $200+ and was very easy to set up. The subwoofer is wireless and only requires a plugin so we put it behind our couch for a "surround sound" effect. I highly recommend using the small remote with it to adjust the equalizer depending on what youre doing. 90% of the time we keep it on the "dialogue" setting because most tv shows and movies these days have quiet dialogue and loud everything else, but the "music" setting is great when you want some more bass. If i had to pick one thing I don't like, it would be that when you change the equalizer setting some guy says "DIALOGUE" through the speaker really loud and there's no way to prevent this. Besides that this is an all around awesome soundbar and the only reason you should get a different one would be if you're going to spend $500+ for some reason. ... show more

    • Transform Your Living Room into a Mini Movie Theater!
I was living in denial, thinking my TV’s built-in speakers were "good enough"—but then I got the VIZIO V-Series Sound Bar, and my ears basically apologized for what they’ve been putting up with all these years. It’s like I invited a professional audio engineer to hang out in my living room, but without the awkward small talk. This sound bar is chef’s kiss perfection. Crisp highs, rich mids, and that subwoofer? Let’s just say I felt the dinosaurs stomping in Jurassic Park like they were right behind my couch. My living room has officially gone from "meh" to full-blown cinema mode. The setup was so easy that even I, a notorious technology dunce, didn’t manage to mess it up. Within minutes, I had booming sound that made me forget I was watching Netflix in sweatpants. The bass is so good, I’m pretty sure my downstairs neighbors think I’ve started an underground nightclub, but hey—worth it! Whether I’m watching an action movie or pretending I’m at a live concert with the volume cranked up, this sound bar delivers.     • Great audio, but no way to lock down / secure bluetooth pairing
I have zero complaints about the audio quality or ease of setup for myself - everything was great there. What's hasn't been so great is that there doesn't seem to be a way to *disable* (or lock down) the bluetooth pairing functionality. I live in an apartment, and I semi-frequently have the thing kick on at random times because a neighbor's phone or other device found it and paired with it. There's not a way to turn off this functionality, and as long as there's power to the unit (e.g. if the sound bar is "off" but currently plugged in). I contacted Vizio support on it, and while they were able to get me the info on how to reset pairing (press and hold the bluetooth button for 5-10 seconds to unpair everything from it), it doesn't stop a device from pairing with the sound bar again five minutes later. Thankfully I have nice neighbors who have only done it on accident and not at 3am or something! ... show more

    • Great Volume, Very Good Bass
I had a soundbar but never used it because it wasn't a whole lot better than the TV speakers. This soundbar sounds great, very happy with it. I was going to purchase a lower priced BOSE, but read the reviews on this soundbar that has a wireless subwoofer, and decided to buy it. I bought one that ships from Amazon it was listed in like new condition. It did not come in a factory box but was indeed like new. Ran into problem with supplied hdmi cable which would not connect to my TV's port. I had to use a better quality cable from my DVD player and that worked fine. I contacted seller and they immediatly sent me out a new cable. Bluetooth hookup was easy and is a great soundbar, we use it all the time now with the TV. I connected it to my chromebook today to listen to some music and connection was very easy via bluetooth and music sounds wonderful. ... show more

    • Best sound ever from a small system!
Found this product in a review on another site and decided to give it a try as I've never been satisfied with the poor sound from the TV and often have trouble picking out the voices from the background music. This sound bar solved all of those problems in an instant! Setup - They include every kind of cable you might need so no going to the store to figure that bit out. If you can figure out how to plug it in and attache the cable, that's as difficult as it gets. It instantly paired with the sub woofer and was ready to go in no time. Sound - In a word...beautiful! Full range, good bass, very easy to make out voices now. Plus it has several presets for different types of programs that are spot on! You can also manually adjust the sound but I've found the presets to be adequate for our listening habits. Extras - Paired it with my phone to listen to music. Super easy and the sound is amazing! For the money, I'm not sure you could do any better. The bar itself is so low profile it disappears under the frame of the TV and the subwoofer, while powerful, hides easily in the room. ... show more

    • Inexpensive, great for music, but impossible to nail down good sound for TV/movies
The bar is easy to set up, and sounds great for music. However, there is no non-EQ'd or custom EQ option; you are permanently locked into a preset list of EQ options, none of which are good for watching TV, especially anything with action or loud scores. Movie is far too bass-heavy and drowns out dialogue, Game isn't much better, Dialogue frequently muffles action, etc. The VR:X setting for "dynamic volume" is inconsistent at best, and doesn't make much sense. ... show more

    • Set up was a breeze!
This sound bar is awesome! It's not window shaking loud, but it's enough to immerse you into the movie you're watching. It's great with music and video games too. I paired it with my vizio tv and I was shocked at how easy the set up was. Literally plugged the subwoofer and sound bar into the wall outlets and then plugged the soundbar into the ARC HDMI port on the tv (it's labeled) and then the sound bar said "ARC sound detected, subwoofer paired." And then it was set up. It works seamlessly with my TVs remote and is overall a great little unit for our modest living room. ... show more
