This is a great soundbar, especially for the price. We have a small room so nowhere to put a subwoofer, but I still wanted a soundbar with decent bass & rumble, for music and movies. This Vizio all-in-one delivered, and then some. The amount of bass is impressive for not having a separate subwoofer. Everything else sounds great too, however the sound out of the box is a bit boomy (at least in my room), so it needed a little calibrating, which was very easy to do with the app remote (bass @ -2 and treble @ +1 sounds perfect and evenly balanced in my room, fixing the “boomy” profile out of the box). The sound stage is also impressive. I think the built-in sub ports help with that— you can clearly hear left/ right channel sound effects way further than the ends of the bar. The DTS Virtual:X simulated surround feature also does an impressive job of simulating surround sound. Other than sounding great, the design is awesome. It’s wrapped in an expensive looking fabric stretched over the length of the bar, capped by really cool looking sub ports on the ends. Overall, for $140 (or even more), I think this sound bar would be very hard to beat. It sounds great for movies and music (especially after tweaking), and the design is unique and expensive looking. I’m very happy with it and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for an all-in-one bar with good sound fidelity and decent bass, and a sleek design. IMPORTANT! - if it sounds too quiet during quiet scenes and too loud during loud scenes, turn on TRUvolume. It levels out the highs and the lows. I like this off during movies though because there SHOULD be highs and lows. Also, DOES NOT INCLUDE PHYSICAL REMOTE, but it’s HDMI CEC, so the TV remote controls the soundbar, and the app remote is very intuitive. ... show more

Money well spent if you are looking for something better than tv speakers. I bought this for an upgrade to my tv in the RV . All I can is I’m very impressed! Very nice upgrade, sound is very good.

    • Does not come with remote!
The media could not be loaded. Does not come with a remote and they don’t tell you…the app is a little complicated, so I recommend purchasing a replacement remote on Amazon. Otherwise, this thing is great!

It is a nice system, easy to set up took about 3 min and done. it is not my 1000 watt pioneer, much simpler, no wires everywhere. for the price its a great sound system. If you like to listen to music it is a nice little unit.

I bought a Vizio TV last year and had to add captions because the sound was so poor. Finally got around to getting this sound bar and wow! Sounds great and was easy to install.

    • NO REMOTE INCLUDED! MUST USE APP ON CELL- Unbelievable.
No Remote Included - Buyers MUST use app on phone to control it. Very disappointing. The description inferred the app was a "cool feature" not that it was needed as no remote is provided. Do your homework. What if you have someone watching the TV who doesn't have the app downloaded........ ? Terrible way to save a few dollars at we buyers' expense. ... show more
