The delivery went perfectly smooth, and the TV was delivered on January 9. The earliest it could be delivered. The only problem I could find is that the controller doesn’t have a voice button. Just learning how to navigate the systems. It’s a very nice TV.

First things first - I've read that people have had issues with orders shipped by TY. My new set arrived in perfect condition and 5 days earlier than advertised. No complaints . So like most Vizios this model comes with the usual quirks and this one is no different with the biggest quirk being the remote... it's a bit vague in what it does until you've played with it for a while. This my 4th Vizio and I really like them.... sacrificing a few features to get a picture this good only makes sense, to me anyway. Colors are vibrant, blacks are really black. It seems Vizio finally put some reasonable speakers in this one and by itself sounds pretty good. FWIW - I don't normally use the TV speakers, I run sound using active studio monitors (which I now cannot use). This television has only an optical for audio out. With the older model of this TV one could select TV speakers, external speakers or a combined signal. Not anymore on this model - you can only choose TV or a soundbar. I had to purchase an analog to digital converter to get sound from my monitors. But... given the lack of audio outs you're kind of restricted in what.... or you could just buy a soundbar. And finally - setup was much more frustrating than it should have been. None of the prompts mentioned that during the online registration process, should you already have a Vizio TV or account it causes the registration process to loop back on itself and heaven help... I called tech support....no waiting to reach a tech, he was polite and efficient and walked me through the process. Worked perfectly. The Vizio provides an amazing display and I'm quite satisfied. A lot of value for the price. Make sure you have a helper... like most big flat screens it weighs a bit and it's a bit awkward (size). I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because of the remote and audio shortcomings. ... show more

This is a great television for the price! Packaged neatly in the box, there is a protective piece of cushioned cardboard taped over the screen, and the tv itself is inside a large bag you use to lift it out of the box safely. Once you attach the legs (or attach it to wall mount), the startup guide is quick and painless. Just connect the television to your WiFi, and the startup guide walks you through everything from registering your device to activate the warranty, to setting up and logging into your streaming apps and more. The sound quality is decent, however I do recommend purchasing a sound bar or other sound system as the TV doesn't have great bass in its speakers, so watching movies can sound a little lacking at first. I bought a sound bar that is able to connect via the Optical chord, or Bluetooth. I decided to connect via bluetooth, and the TV handled that flawlessly. It also works with any blutooth headphones for listening privately if, for instance, someone is sleeping and you'd like to listen without waking them. Picture quality is great, with numerous screen profiles you can choose from, or you can calibrate it yourself to your own specifications. Overall, I'm VERY happy with the product.     • Home screen has ads -Don't buy unless you don't mind ads that you can't get rid of-

Don't buy this TV. It's one of those that has ads on the home page that you have look at every time you turn on your TV. Also it bugs you with a popup ad occasionally that you have to exit out of to get to the home page which as I mentioned before has more ads. Video quality isn't great. Doesn't have uniform brightness over the entirety of the screen, corners are dark. Sound quality is pretty good for a TV. Setup was easy and found my network ok. Remote is responsive and comfortable. Tons of apps to choose from with paid or free services. I had to return this TV only a month after purchase because it suddenly wouldn't play any programs. It would load apps, like if I wanted to jump from HBOMax to Netflix, just fine but it wouldn't play any shows that I picked. It would just do a continual loading spinning icon on the screen even though it was still connected to an active internet connection. I factory reset the TV and it worked ok for a day and then it stopped loading programs again. Then it just completely blipped out, full static screen and it turned off and never turned back on again. Also when this was shipped the VIZIO box was in really poor shape and poorly wrapped. The box didn't have a solid bottom and the only thing holding the actual TV in the box was the Styrofoam and other packaging inside and two plastic bands around the outside of the box. The bottom was also wet, so the TV had no protection from that. I took direct delivery at my door, so it wasn't from me letting it sit at my doorstep that got it wet. Always been a pretty big fan of VIZIO TVs but not anymore especially if they are going to make ads a part of their TVs that you can never get rid of.
