Perfect for Urban Gardening! The height can be adjusted by purchasing a longer or shorter piece of PCV pipe that drains the water from the planter to the water storage. I've transplanted seedlings and established plants as well as starting new plants from seeds. I prefer using rockwool purchased on Amazon vs using the sponges provided.

The product is good. However, before you put it together...make sure you plan ahead and know WHERE you are going to hang the system and HOW you are going to hang it. Since I am in an RV and will be traveling down the road, I decided to check out a YouTube video to learn how to secure the pipes to each other. There were no directions for this in the package NOR did any YouTube videos I watched mention this. So, I decided to prime AND glue each joint to prevent leakage. I bought Oatey Handy Pack 8-fl oz Purple and Clear PVC Cement and Primer which says it is safe for drinking (potable) water which is great because I will be growing lettuce, spinach, and kale hydroponically. ALSO, I figured out a way to hang the system in front of the bathroom window by attaching them to the top of the valance with 0.67" wide Perforated Hanger Straps.

Easy to assemble. Make sure the numbers 1-4 on the panels are all upright when you assemble or the water won’t flow. Quick assemble and a good value for the money. Buy extra sleeves for your seedlings.

Ordered mine and everything was working fine. But then pump just stopped working. Luckily I was home to address it but I'm going to need to figure out the pump type to get a replacement.

Wow! The set up was so easy, it took me about 12-15 minutes. Installation instruction is all in 1 page, easy to understand with clear images. The whole planting pipe panel sitting on top is bigger than the holder. You'll need a 4x4 area for the system, with a 5-gallon bucket. I do like the square design for growing basket, as it's tightly fit and secured in the hole. I'm currently sprouting some lettuce seeds . However, I am thinking of using the cococoir plugs in stead of the included tiny white plastic sponges. It's just my personal preference. The timer for water pump has ON settings for 5, 15 and 35 mins; the OFF settings are for 30, 60, and 120 mins. I hope Vivosun would soon have the replacement baskets for it; I couldn't seem to find anyone that sell them.

The system is ok, but the grow baskets are square shaped (which was a selling point as they stay squarely - pun intended - in their holes). However, the company does not sell the square sponges or square grow baskets on their own, outside of the kit. So if for any reason you need replacements/additional of these (and you will) you are out of luck. You can get by with different sponges, but not the grow baskets.

I like the build of it. But not a huge fan of the foam seedling holders. It needs something more environmentally friendly. Otherwise it’s a good product for what it is.
