I heard a lot of great things about this grow light and controller. A friend is using a similar setup and I’m hoping this will give me similar results. The light has 3 separate light spectrums for seedlings, veg, and flower. Not many grow lights have IR and UV, so this is awesome to have included. I can’t wait to have the capabilities on my iPhone too! The grow hub controller will let me program and monitor from anywhere and it’s also able to control my exhaust fan. ... show more

Received the lights, a few days later the company pushed out a firmware update and now the lights don't turn completely off. Company said they have to be replaced and have arranged new lights to be sent out which I am waiting for. There are other issues, it talks about a grow diary in the controller manual and app, but this does not exist. You can't control the light spectrum (like a reef light), you can only choose one of the 3 presents, and this just adjusts which LED's are turned on rather than changing the spectrum on the LED (so not as advertised), this also means you can't decide when to turn the UV on or how intense you want the UV, it is simply on all the time. There is an auditable high pitched (and very annoying) electronic whine from the lights LED drivers, at first I though it was the fans but it is the LED drivers. The fans are low quality and make a bunch of electronic noise as well, they should of user decent fans like Noctua but they did not. Controller should have more "controllability", only 5 steps of fan speed for vent fan, only 4 for lights fans and 4 for the light intensity which is really low, there should be 10 steps (hopefully they can update this in later app updates). The up side is they work with AC Infinity fans using usbC (UIS) or with a AC Infinity Molex adapter (this control works well, just needs 10 control steps) and allows for min fan speed of 1 step so the vent fan does not turn off. ... show more

I have a spiderfarmer vfd100 and thought with all the hype this was just as good but had the fan in the center and controller . Fan is cool but light even on 100% isn't near as bright as the spider farmer . And the growhub is not worth it. I purchased a rich ya 4"turbo fan with a digital controller for $50 it controls 3 fans has temp sensor and everything easier to use than the grow hub. Gonna get the 200 watt without the hub and use the app. With my richya controller for Temps. The smart swivel fan is a joke 10 speeds and on 10 is same as low on cheaper versions. ... show more

This thing randomly won't turn on fans or exhaust fans or lights or the problem that tells the inside temp just turns off and the screen shows no inside Temps This is not quality products. Can't call customer service they don't answer the phone and emailing them its been days with no response and this is like the 8th issue I've had with their products. At this point I recommend spending the extra funds for ac infinity products as I know immabout to switch and throw this garbage away ... show more

This set is as close to perfect for indoor growing as you can get. The 4 light units can be spread out or brought close as your need determines. The integrated control unit (included) allows for an amazing level of control of these lights from such things as color. want more red? no prob. green? just set it on the control unit. saturation? mebe you want more gentle lighting? easy to set. The cooling fan that is built into the control unit is a very nice touch allowing for temperature control as well as lighting. ... show more
