I don't know if the one I received was old or defective, but it's all glued together and can't even be separated or unrolled. Total waste of money! UPDATE: The seller reached out to me and offered a full refund. Great customer service! I changed my rating from 1-star to 4-star and will try re-ordering to see if I just happened to get a defective pack.

I rely on reviews so I thought I would post one myself. I work in a shop and we do a lot of laminating. This works well to protect the thumb and pointer finger when filing edges and corners, especially if the edges are sharper then 90 degrees. Laminate can be sharp as a knife so this does the trick in keeping the fingers from getting cut up. Some of the other guys don’t like it but I find it helps- it’s all personal preference. I bend the finger when applying as the finger fattens up and that way when I relax the finger the tape isn’t as constricting. The tape stays on and is durable. Better than a glove in this application as it leaves the other fingers able to feel what your doing. Worth a shot if you’re thinking about it.

Keep in mind this is not going to stop punctures! This is a knit tape, I use it over my fingers of cut resistant gloves & my thumb guard. This tape works well, you need a couple layers. It does cut, I’m a wood carver and it helps keep my gloves protected to last longer. Wood carving tools are extremely sharp even when dulled from craving. This tape is amazing if you understand it’s a tool to prevent cuts but will not stop completely. Tool control is always needed, but when that tool slips this will help prevent major cuts that would happen without this tape.

Part of the rolls were ok and part could not roll off spool. Maybe had been damp or too much heat...not sure. By the time I knew (as got a box) time had run out to return. The ones that were ok worked well though.

I bought these rolls to wrap my fingers when sawing, polishing, wire pulling, etc. at my jeweler's bench. It really saves my fingertips and I've saved myself from what would undoubtedly be bloodshed (which is the situation prior to wrapping my fingers with this tape). It sticks to itself so well that it can be difficult to find the end of the wrap to remove it from my fingers. To remedy this, I slide an Exacto knife blade (blade up and facing away from my finger) between the tape and my finger skin and slice it open. Voilà! It comes right off then. These rolls should last a good long while in my workshop.
