I use this fan for my 4x8 tent to keep my humidity at around 60% in veg. Fan goes on and off through out the day. The 4x8 tent get negative pressure on the lowest setting with one 4 inch port open on the bottom of the tent to bring in air. I left off 1 star and gave it a 2 for the noise level. Its very load to me and I wanted to send it back but decided not too. Maybe its so load because I have it on the left side of the tent going out the top side and I can see the fan from the outside of the tent exhaust port. Maybe I need to move it to the center of the room and add a bend to the ducting to lower the noise. Still a great fan and worth the money it moves a lot of air. I will add a update when I change the fan position in the room. ... show more

Great kit with all that’s needed for ventilating a grow tent for mushrooms with FAE (fresh air exchange). I set it up on a mini greenhouse tent. Blows out (exhausts) of the tent and into the included filter. Keeps the mushroom spores from contaminating the room air. Filter seems to manage the high humidity from inside the grow tent. The adjustability of the fan speed is fantastic. You can adjust it from really slow to quite fast! I have it set on a lower speed and control it with a wall timer. ... show more
