There’s lots of different brands/prices for protective grow room glasses. I would say the most important factor is making sure that you have peripheral protection. You might as well not be wearing an glasses at all if light can still penetrate your eyes from the sides. These are great sunglasses for growing plants using LED lights especially for the cheap price. They come with a hard shell zippered case and a cleaning cloth. They were wrapped in plastic inside the case when I first received them, so there are no scratches on them. I had cataract surgery over a year ago and retina surgery a few months ago, so I can't afford to not be wearing some form of eye protection when growing plants around high output LED grow lights, in my case 4000 watts! These have the correct protection against the very bright UV rays LED grow lights emit. These are nice grow sunglasses which I highly recommend. ... show more

These glasses are the best. I just received them today and WOW. What I most love about these glasses is not just how they protect your eyes from uv but also how they wrap around unlike other glasses Ive seen that are actually a little more expensive. Plus, little windows on the side so you don't always have to turn your neck and head to look to your side. They are pretty snug so you do want to be careful putting on and taking off, but thats a good thing to me, for this tells me that it makes a complete seal for your eyes, as I use to be a welder and even with your helmet and lens, arc rays CAN bend with out you realizing it, and with out knowing it until the end of the day your eyes are hurting. But, these come with a super nice zip up HARD SHELL CASE! Not some flimsy pouch, but an actual protective case. I'm going to buy another set or two just in case I lose one or one breaks, although I don't see this happening, just always nice to have back ups because ya never know... I have bought Vivosun products in the past and NEVER disappointed. These glasses are just one more to add to my list why I love and trust Vivosun!!! ... show more

Glasses are working out perfectly. They are made from a thin injection mold, so as far as style (and some of the other features of comfort) do expect to find it. They'll turn the hue of LED's back into order for you without issue. The side lenses are likely the best sole feature of this eye pro. Moving around without those can turn you upside down in short order, simply put,they work. This isn't for those folks that like to look decent while taking video, but for what they're made for, they're solid. The top is also at a good angle to provide some hooding from directly overhead lighting. I toss them around and accidentally drop them a bit and they've stood up to it without breaking, but even if I wreck a pair a couple times a year, I still come out ahead over some others.... which I'd still toss around, so.. Almost forgot! They come with a pretty nice storage case. It's zippered, kinda stylish, and will keep your good (not work) shades from getting destroyed. I put it in the console of my truck and keep good driving shades in it. ... show more

Glasses work as described, they maintain proper colors under led grow lights. They are well made, come with a nice case. I notice no difference in vision after using these under 1200 watt LED's. Working under or while exposed to intense LED lights can damage your eyes quickly.
