This replaced and Aquascape 2000 pump which cost almost 5 times as much and is rated at 2,000 gallons per hour. The Aquascape has been reliable and required one impeller in approx. 6 years usage. The VIVOSUN 3567 fit exactly perfectly in it's place, requiring no different adaptors/fittings whatsoever. Easy! Immediately noticed the VIVOSUN 3567 pumps more water than the old pump but cannot vouch for the accuracy of the 3,567 gallons per hour claim. Seems very well built and operates virtually silently. It's been running 24/7 for a month now and seems flawless. In the future, will add to this review to report any issue or to declare my undying love for this pond pump!

Purchased this in December of 2020, and it went out yesterday July 12th 2023. Includes 1 year warranty so well out of that range unfortunately. I had this attached to a 300 Gallon Acrylic Aquarium plumbed underneath in a sump setup with 3 feet of lift and it worked extremely well with a decent flow rate while it worked. Yesterday it just stopped working correctly. It is still running but no longer has the power to actually move the water up into the aquarium, and is only getting around 1 foot total of lift from the water pressure. Removed it from the setup and checked to make sure it was not clogged or blocked and found no issues at all, manually everything still seems to spin fine with nothing appearing to be off, but as soon as it is plugged in it just no longer has any power. I know things do not last forever, but I am still disappointed as I replaced a pump that worked fine for 10 years with this one, and then only received 1/3rd the life from it.

The media could not be loaded. I had bought a similar $150 pump to what I had, but thought it was too powerful and that might have contributed to it failing after a few years (only a few hours a day). So I went with this one after reviewing all the ones on amazon and at Home Depot. So far so good. I had. 120v line already so was looking for that and something for 10 feet of vertical pumping support. But I have to step down the more than 1 inch output down to that and I built my own diverter from a Pvc “t” and a valve (see video) to also run a cute turtle water feature if pressure permitted. Plenty of pumping to run both. I didn’t notice any difference with the turtle running or not. It is silent (it is under more than a foot of water) It came with a variety of step down pieces and I used one of them. I also still put the whole thing in a mess bag just for extra leaf protection. The real rating has to come in a year to see if it still running. But happy with it and the build quality.

We purchased VIVOSUN 5284 GPH Submersible Water Pump, 400W Pond Pump, Ultra Quiet Aquarium Pump with 29.5FT Lift Height for Pond, Waterfall, Fish Tank, Statuary, Hydroponic. It ran well for a month running only 6 hours a day, yesterday just over a month of running it, it ceased to operate at all. What a disappointment.
