Love the design. Way better thought out than acinfinity clip fans. I only bought this fan because of a review claiming they're compatible with controller 69. They will not operate at all when connected to the 69 pro wifi. If you have the 69 Bluetooth version they will work where 6 is max for the fan but you do not have the wind mode it seems. The media could not be loaded. Fan came well packaged - and included the fan itself, fan clip, cable management ties, a long usb C cable, and instructions. I have had many small fans, and are typically very low quality. They work for a few months, get loud, and give up. While I have not had this fan for long, I can tell the quality difference. The fan startup sound is smooth, and the base does not wobble when "spinning up". The clip has a good grip, easy to mount on a pole, shelf, etc. Power cable is also nice and long. The fan has a connection for USB C, and a long USB C cable is included, but you need additional hardware (a controller) in order to automate the fan/control via an app. I don't have the controller, so I can't speak to this functionality. With that said, you can manually adjust everything easily. There is one button for the oscillating function (on and off), and then another button to turn on the fan. Each button press increases the speed and has 5 levels. Another nice feature - the LED's indicate the speed when the buttons are pushed, but appear to turn off after some time. Perfect when you want a fully dark room. The tilt function is easy to use - unscrew and set your desired angle, then tighten the screw. I like this fan so much, that I have replaced my nightstand fan with one of these. Highly recommend! ... show more

EDIT: Finally heard from Support after several days. They refunded, and I rolled the dice -- ordered another. Works perfectly! Power button defective. Works fine connected to E25. Oscillate button works... No response to my email to support. Not even an auto-reply.

This fan is awesome! I put it in my Son's room because there is just too much in there to put a standing fan on the floor. It works brilliantly and it's easy to clip to anything so you can put it anywhere. Super easy and works great!

This fan is nice, and really easy to pair with if you have the Vivosun Hub. Just remember to go into your Hub Settings within the Vivosun App, and change your Port B to 'Clip-On Fan' from 'Exaust Fan'. That way if you are running a Recipe within the app, you aren't accidentally running the Clip-On Fan as your Exaust. ... show more

VivoSun AeroWave E6 Fan I have to say that I was hesitant about writing a review, because if you do so… you need to put your name on the results. That means an investment of time and effort, attention to detail, and the discipline to write it all down, so when asked what I think about this new product, I wanted to be absolutely positive about the results, so I purchased one and used it during my grow. First things first. I bought the fan from the VivoSun store on Amazon, and was pleasantly surprised to see that the fan was the same price as the previous clip-fan. Introducing a new product without raising the price is a great move, if you ask me. It’s clearly a better product than its predecessor, so let me list through the features that I think are worth mentioning. 1. EC motor is so important!! All if not most fans can come apart for easy cleaning (except for a competitors fan, black, 6” clip-on, EC motor, I can’t seem to get the cover off!), but who wants to disassemble the motor and clean the inner workings? Nobody. The EC motor will increase the lifespan of the fan, as well as make regular maintenance so much easier. 2. Did I say cleaning? Who makes an EC fan without the ability to take the protective cover off? Not VivoSun, that’s for sure!! There is a single screw at the base of the cover (no special tools or tricks). Remove it and give her a slight twist, and the cover is off. Love it!! 3. I love the GrowHub controller app, and this fan plugs right into the system. What’s more, VivoSun doesn’t quip about cables… they use USB-C and if I need a longer cable, I just buy one. Not some over-priced, proprietary cable with limited availability. I like how they have embraced an international standard. Smart move! 4. It’s super versatile. 10 speeds, reciprocating, and controlled either manually with the EC buttons, the console on the GrowHub Controller, or through the app! I can’t say enough good things about this app, but that is another review I suppose. 5. Programmable. When used with the GrowHub Controller, you can program recipes for ventilation, and this is no different. As my plants grow more foliage, it is necessary to step up the airflow. Not a problem, as the recipe contains those changes, so when I switch recipes, it changes the schedule for the clip-fan. My plan is to replace the 4 VivoSun clip fans with these newer fans, and give these perfectly functional 6” fans to new growers, so they can get started out right. VivoSun is staying out front with innovation, and this new AeroWave E6 Fan is a winner for sure!! ... show more

The positives are that these are very quiet and they arrive very clean. The box is nice and the square clamp looks like it would be secure (but I didn't try it so I don't really know). The negs are that these are very cheap feeling. They move very little air. This fan only needs a low setting for seedlings and a high for everything else. They don't move much air. I personally can't imagine using a controller with these. Very gimmicky. I opted to return them. These are the best clip fans I've ever tried but still they are clip fans and all I have used have been poor quality including these. ... show more
