This sprayer is well made with a thick plastic reservoir and brass nozzle fittings. It comes with an extension nozzle and extra parts for fittings. The manufacturer expects you to be using this high-quality sprayer for a long time. My favorite feature it the thumb button that allows you to spray while it is depressed or to latch it in place for continuous spray. Also, I like the knurled brass adjuster on the spray nozzle to make wide or narrow spray stream. I chose this half-gallon size because it is light weight to hold with one hand, even when filled, while I use my other hand to move the plants. The pressure pump works great. Once I have used up the pressure, I quickly pump 15-20 times to go again. The mouth of the water container is wide for easy filling and cleaning. I highly recommend this garden sprayer.

Worked "pretty well" the first time I used it. After that, it started to leak, the air release would pop on its own with just a few pumps of pressure. Holding the release closed caused liquid to shoot out of the top of the cap at the pump handle as well as the spray nozzle with no ability to stop it - AND without even engaging the spray lever. Total garbage. If you like using money as kindling, this is your sprayer.

Bought this for the brass fittings and the extendable wand but it leaks EDIT: I wrote to Vivosun and I was very happy with their response time.. Found that you need to use some force when connecting parts. Once the fittings were tight enough the unit stopped leaking. Now the unit functions as intended and it's all I needed. Thank you Vivosun for your help!

VIVOSUN 0.5Gal Handheld Garden Sprayer performs without leakage. Pros - Excellent customer service offered me a free replacement after I accidentally broke the handle. - Pump action works very well. - I purchased my second unit (resulting in 5 stars) because I like the overall performance of the first one for over 6 months of operation. Cons - The small pressure relief valve is difficult to pull compared to other models I've used. NOTE: I twist open the bottle to release pressure rather than using the valve. - The metal pump rod can rust. I rub the metal with oil to avoid rusting.

This sprayer works ok for misting, but works poorly when the setting is on a stream. It leaks. No instructions for using the extension piece, so I can't figure out how to install it. This replaced an inexpensive sprayer that I bought locally. The inexpensive sprayer worked much better. UPDATE: I figured out how to use the extension piece, so that's an improvement.
