Years ago, we'd mounted a 32" "dumb" Samsung TV with the idea we'd only remove it once it died so we tossed the pedestal. A month ago, the TV appeared to have died. DH said he'd checked all the connections (quite a few as we had a Sling box attached to it as well as a cable box), and connections were not the problem. We ordered a new TV ("smart" one, now), and I went to disconnect everything. Doing so, I discovered the power cord seemed really loose. I replaced it with another and, bam! , the TV works again. No problem as I can put that one in another room except for one thing---no pedestal. I was thrilled to find something so inexpensive. This is one sturdy, stable holder. At first, we installed the TV higher up, but it was too high so we moved it lower. You can see that it's still not as low as it can go. It can also go much higher, if that's what you need. Originally, we had it about midway up on the VESA 400x400 connection points. It was incredibly stable. It was also a snap to readjust the height. Once set on the chest of drawers, I found that the front of the feet could move a little (maybe 1"-2") in/out to meet your needs.     • Exactly what I needed for my 55" LG and easy to assemble

Works great for my LG 55" (model 55LF6090). I needed to raise it a few inches so it would clear the sound bar which was blocking the receiver for the remote on the TV. It's a Smart TV, so we'd have to stand up to use the Apps. Assembly is easy and instructions are good. Others have mentioned that the paint on the threading makes it hard cranking down the nuts. I ended up using a socket wrench instead of the provided wrench. The labeled plastic packaging was a big help, but two parts were switched (A3 and B3 in the attached image). It was easy to recognize, so didn't slow me down much. It's very stable. I only have a couple of quibbles. One is the the forward portion of the feet are higher than I expected. Understandable so that it can be strong, but I ended up resting the sound bar on top of the feet because they won't fit underneath it. Also, it's great that they come with rubber material to protect the furniture from being scratched. My only concern is that it is rubber, and I live in a warm climate that might disintegrate the material over time and cause it to stick to the console it's sitting on. I'm thinking of putting some felt foot pads underneath to prevent that from happening. Overall, though, happy with the purchase. ... show more

Considering the price, I was hesitant to purchase for my 65" television. But after reading the reviews I decided to purchase. The instructions could've been a little better but all and all it wasn't that hard to put together. I am happy with my purchase thus far. The television doesn't tilt, (as other reviews stated) and legs seem to be sturdy enough to hold my 65" without any problems. In short, this is a great replacement stand for the price. I bought this stand to mitigate any issues regarding buying a 55-65 inch TV. Most TVs of this size have their stands on the ends and my entertainment console is limited in width. I assumed that this VIVO universal stand would work for any TV in my desired size range since it says it supports the VESA patterns and sizes up to 65". I purchased Samsung QN65Q65FN 65" and discovered this stand would not work (see my photo showing the back of the TV with the red text). I'm using an 18" wide and 48" long by 1" thick pine board on top of my console to support this TV with its original stands. ... show more

Like many others I bought a new TV (2018 Vizio P65-F1), but the OEM stand was too wide to fit on my existing furniture. I contemplated buying a whole new TV stand, but opted to go for something cheaper. I came across the Vivo Universal stand for $17.99 at my time of purchase. I figured for under $20, why not?! The Good: It was fairly simple to assemble, but the instructions are weak at best. With my center speaker in the way, my TV looks like it's floating. All put together the Vivo Universal TV stand is fairly solid. There's minimal, if any wobble. The Bad: There's 4 screws that hold the legs on, 2 per leg. They screw in solidly, but I'd prefer if there were nuts to hold them on. A few nuts and crush washers from your local hardware store and a pinch of blue Loctite should do the trick. I probably wouldn't recommend using the included Hex tool as it may strip the bolts. The Verdict: If you need an inexpensive universal TV stand, then the Vivo Universal TV stand should work. Just use your own hex tool. Also, pick up a few extra M6 nuts, just in case. ... show more

    • Ideal for Smaller Stands
These mounting brackets allow for a smaller surface to set your new big screen TV on. The standard legs on the TV I purchased are almost at the ends of the screen and it's a 65 inch model. You need a large surface for that to work; but with these easy to assemble brackets allow my TV to fit on a normal TV stand that I used to have my old analog 32 inch TV sitting on. The new TV is totally stable due to the oversize "feet" on this mounting set. I bought this set because they were said to handle up to a 65 inch TV. Most of the other ones out there tell you 60 inches; well you don't spend that kind of money on your TV and hope the cheaper brackets work. ... show more
