Great stand so far. I've had it for a couple of months to hold my 34" LG ultrawide monitor. It supports the weight well. My monitor doesn't tilt down or cause the arm to lower. It comes with pieces for grommet mounting and for clamping to a desk. You will need space behind the monitor if mounting at the center of your desk for the arm. When turned to the side there are a few inches of offset from where the monitor rests and the base. My desktop had a predrilled hole in the center I used for the grommet mount, so I have my desk pulled away from the wall to account for the arm. I would recommend mounting at an offset to center your monitor if your desk is against a wall. The base has two spaces where you can run cables through or connect USB extentions for peripherals. It is open underneath so cables can run through the base then through the grommet hole if yours is wide enough.

I'm a huge fan of Vivo monitor arm products, I deployed them at work for years and they've always worked for me. I figured this solution would also be my saving grace. Sadly, it hasn't been that great. The hingle which controls the tilt of the monitor is overburdened by my Samsung Odyssey gaming monitor. I'll continue to see if I can... Figure it out? Diy a solution? Stare at the manual more? This has just been frustrating is all. It's a great dual monitor arm, but it keeps wanting to tilt my favorite monitor downwards. Just so everyone knows, I'm mounting 2 32" gaming monitors, and they are not over the weight spec for this product. I'll do more testing tomorrow for the... 3rd time at least, and see what I can do. Until then, I'm just a bit sad about it in all honesty.

This is a serious bargain - especially if you snag it at $59.99 and don’t have a heavier ultrawide monitor. I bought two of these for a dual monitor setup trial run. I learned two things: That I extremely dislike two monitors because I prefer the immersion that the Alienware monitor gives me AND that the AW3423DWF is too heavy for it. It will still support it at middle height, but not lower nor higher as it always sags to the middle height. If you don’t have as heavy a monitor (approx 28lbs -ish) then it’s a super solid monitor arm for half the prices of the competitors.

I had the vivo that said max monitor size was 32in. But it didn't quite work with my space and Gigabyte G32QC A monitors. I upgraded to this one, and it's perfect for my needs.
