I purchased this desk a month ago and I am extremely happy with it! This product is hands down one of my best Amazon purchases in a long time. The desk was easy to put together. Just take your time, read the instructions and find a nice open area (5’x5’) and have fun. The instructions aren’t the best but they will get you to get the job done. The desk was easy to preset to the heights I need. The desk is extremely sturdy and can take a nice amount of weight as well. I used two moving men plates under the legs and slid the unit to my room with no issues. The desk rises quietly and drops nicely. Best purchase for sure! The nice wood finish looks great as it matches my bedroom furniture. The best thing is, you can order this in 47”w or 55” wide which is great. I had a regular 55”w desk and wished it was just a little less width and more depth. Boom! My old desk had a depth of 27” and this one is 30”. So less width and a little more depth. I work from my home office most of the time and I'm also an avid runner and health & fitness freak. Sometimes, the virtual meetings would extend for well over an hour and that made me think that I need a standup desk as I really don't like to sit for more than 45 minutes straight. This also made me think that I can add an under desk treadmill to walk while I'm working and also to run lightly every now and then while watching something on YT or listening to music. This VIVO 71x36 Stand Up Desk is really nice. It's spacious for all my monitors and audio equipment, which I have a lot of. I installed a height-adjustable keyboard-and-mouse tray under the center panel of the desk to make more room and also get the angle of the keyboard just right for better posture while typing. The motor for height adjustment is very quiet and the memory setting work just fine. Assembly was pretty straightforward, everything works as it should, is sturdy, and looks good as well. Love this desk. I bought it so I would not be sitting all day, but I needed enough workspace to work comfortably and use it for business and gaming. The assembly was easy enough; you need to take your time and follow the instructions. I added several things to this to make it more useful and streamlined: 1 - Under-desk drawer: It's not super large, but enough to store a couple of things. 2 - Cable holder/tray: Must have if you have anything more than a laptop on the desk to handle all the cords and power bricks. 3 - Mic mount: Took the Yeti off my desk and out of the way of my work. This mounted easily with a vice-grip type mount. It is right at the edge of the desk, and it has not caused any damage to the desk. I don't know if a monitor mount would work on this desk, since the monitor will be much heavier. 4 - Cord grommet: I drilled a hole in the center back of the desk to run the cords down to the cable tray. I was concerned about doing this as I was not sure what the desk was made of. Fortunetly, the core was solid, and I have had no issues since I did this. This desk is about an inch thick and has held up well at all the various mounting points for the additions above. There is not a single area where I see any cracking or other signs that it will not hold up. I've had this for almost a year, and I use it every day. From an adjustment standpoint, it works perfectly for my needs. I'm 5' 7", and it goes way below and above where I need it for sitting and standing. The adjustment controls are easy to use, and you can set the desk to four different heights if more than one person uses it. ... show more

The desk was very easy to put together with 2 people. It is very sturdy and large enough to fit a laptop, monitor, and printer with room to spare. It has 4 different height settings pre programmed or you are able to adjust it manually as well. I don’t love the color of the wood but I am happy with everything else.     • SImple to assemble, very quiet.

I've read the negative reviews first and all seemed written by people that have no idea how to follow simple/picture directions and use a screwdriver. Yes, you need to use a screwdriver and the included allen keys. Not hard. I have assembled the frame first and gave it few tries. That motor, is so quiet its unbelievable. Everything works as expected, assembles very easily. I used a drop of Loctite blue on every screw, its not expensive - $4 at HarborFreight. That will lock the screws in place and prevent them from coming out. Honestly, for how cheap that Loctite is , it should be included in the package. That or something else. Then I assembled the top. On each dowel I put carpenter's glue, as well as inside each hole. Then I installed the crossbars to connect each top to eachother. Let it sit overnight, the loctite and carpenter's glue will cure and you can use the desk. I'm still amazed at how quiet that motor is. I can't comment at how fast or slow is to rise up, go down as I dont have any reference, however, I can tell that it raises fast enough that after I push the button it goes all the way up while I push my chair away and stand up getting ready to continue to type on the keyboard. As described, though parts not labeled for easier assembly but ok not too complicated to put it together, my table came with 2 dented parts on the wood other than that I guess good quality. Another quality issue was the last part of the table (total is 3 parts due size) you can feel it slightly maybe half inch or not even unleveled with the other part attached; if you try to move a mouse even with a pad, you can feel a tiny little bump on the part where it divided the table. Very nice standing desk that I use for a PC setup. I was impressed with the quality of the desktop (which ships in a separate box from the desk stand and motor). Note that I was required to sign for the delivery so plan to be available when the desk is delivered. The desktop and the stand are sturdy and the motor moves the desktop smoothly. Assembly was straightforward, the step-by-step instructions are clear, and the screws are high quality. I did the assembly by myself and had no problems (easier than for other furniture bought online) - it took about an hour and a half. If you want to add wheels, I recommend doing that during the desk assembly. The wheels really make it so easy to move around. The Vivo M8 threaded locking castor wheels fit the desk stand (you just unscrew the floor pads and screw in the wheels). I highly recommend this desk. ... show more
