  • This is my 4th Purchase in 5 years. Still Loving These!
Color: Black
I don't know how other companies selling similar stands can justify their price when this stand for Vivo is an option. This stand is perfect. It's heavy, sturdy, made of quality metal, assembly is a breeze and it holds up even the heaviest of monitors nicely and to top it all off; affordable. I have a 34" ultrawide on the bottom and a 27" 16:9 monitor on the top and these monitors are help up nicely and stuck in place. The only reason you should not get this stand is if you want monitor arms. I was only using a monitor arm for about 7 years and switched to this and I'm honestly fine not having the arms and I don't see how they would really be that great with a vertical mount like this. I want to adjust my monitors at a perfect angle with little to no cap in between, lock it and leave it. I have no desire to adjust the monitors once they're in place. I also want to say, if you're looking for a vertical mount for the first time and are used to having a side by side layout; do it! I worked in an office for many years with side by side monitors and also had that layout at home. A friend told me about vertical mounts, I bought one, and I'll never switch back. Vertical is ideal for two screens. There's a bit of an adjustment at first but once you get used to it, you'll love it. It's way more ergonomic to look slightly up and down with just your eyes instead of tilting your head left and right. It's also a lot easier to do something like, play a movie up top while working on the bottom. It's much easier to see both screens at the same time when they're vertical. Hope this review helps! ... show more

  • For the price it cannot be beat
Color: White
Very sturdy and easy to assemble. Getting the monitors attached takes two people and getting the monitors to stay in place takes some serious cranking with the large allen key. I feel like a hand-cranked screw (with a big plastic grip) would have been a better design. There is a very slight lean forward from the monitor due to the mounting bracket in back whose screw opening is much bigger than the screw that is supposed to hold it in place. The solution is to adjust it tilted back a little and then it will lean forward to be level. The stand easily holds my two 34" widescreen monitors. No stability concerns whatsoever but cumbersome to lift and move. You can tilt the upper monitor downward as much as needed but the adjustment is awkward with the allen key because you need to hold the monitor with one hand and the allen key with the other. It is difficult to adjust the monitor up the pole because there is an incredible amount of resistance plus when you exert any upward force, you start to pull up the base and move the whole unit. I recommend making any adjustments on the ground. You can also use this as a single monitor stand by removing the joining and upper pieces and capping the bottom piece. It is still a good value even for a single monitor stand. The base has a decent size footprint on your desk to afford all the stability, but it is fairly low profile so you don't completely lose the desk space. As long as you are going to set this once and forget it, it is a great value. If you need the flexibility to make frequent adjustments, then I would look for a different stand. ... show more

  • Very sturdy support for vertically stacked monitor arrangement.
Color: Black
I use two monitors side by side at work, and am spoiled to the two monitor setup. However, my home work area is limited such that the side by side configuration is not feasible. So, with some hesitation, I decided to try two vertically stacked monitors supported by this stand. The two monitors are an ultra wide 34" over a standard 32" - both 2K. The stand is very sturdy. It supports both monitors with no wobble. And, the stand allows a wide variety of adjustments to the height and tilt of the monitors. The adjustments are a little tricky as the bolts that clamp the brackets must be loosened, the adjustments made and the bolts retightened while holding the monitor in place. It takes some time to get everything adjusted just right, and the bolts must be tightened securely. That's one of the issues I had with this stand. Allen wrenches for the bolts are included with the stand, but I was not able to fully tighten the bolts using the short Allen wrenches provided. Fortunately, I had some longer Allen wrenches that I was able to use to tighten the bolts securely. The other issue I had was that the bolt on one of the bracket clamps would not turn with the Allen wrenches. The bolt was stuck tight and it seemed like the threads on the bracket clamp had not been fully machined. I had to use a ratchet wrench with an Allen socket to get the bolt to move and, eventually, to get the bracket installed. I suspect that this problem was a "one off" with my particular stand and not a common issue. As I say, once I got the brackets adjusted and tightened, the stand is very sturdy. The lower monitor is tilted back and the upper monitor is tilted forward. It took awhile to get used to the vertical stacking, but it works with my tight home office space and I'm OK with the results. ... show more
