Seat back straight up with no give. It pitched upper body forward. I asked for remediation and was told to get lumbar pillow. Ordered that. All it did was subtract about 4 inches from the back bottom seat, making around a 14 inch sear to sit on, not to mention another change on center of gravity. In 0rder for usage, the footrest must be upright for me to exit chair. Because of the poor center of gravity from the very beginning, I was pitched forward at a bad angle, on or about the 4th day of use, my weight shifted forward a little more when stopping. My feet were both on the footboard, tilt forward, footboard cracked and was unusable in upright position. I cou l d not hold onto the footboard to stand with feet 14inches apart. Eventually, trying to use the remnants of the chair, the next day I was pitched off the chair onto the floor, suffered injury and have undergone back surgery on an emergency basis. Also, the companies customer service has been ok, but there is still great difficulty being able to send the chair back. Friends have been told I will get my money returned, but after several suggested shipping outlets, they will not ship chair back. DO NOT BUY THIS CHAIR! ... show more
