THE TRICK: Pull the dent while the glue is still slightly soft and viscous. This will be the point that the glue has the best adhesion and suction power. In my experience, once you have applied the puller pad onto the metal, let it set for no more than 1 to 2 minutes, tops, depending upon the amount of glue you use. Use enough glue to create a glue cushion of about 1-2 millimeters between the metal and the puller pad. DO NOT let the glue harden completely. It will just break off when you pull the dent. As you pull the dent you should see the glue stretch slightly, and there will be a distinctive metal popping sound if you do it properly. The timing for the glue set will also depend on temperature and humidity. I live in Florida, so it is plenty hot and humid here. Adjust your set time accordingly. Cooler weather may take even less than 60 seconds. This did a very good job in pulling a small, creased dent from the rear passenger door on my 2016 Explorer. Although after a dent, you will never get it perfect, mine is virtually unnoticeable from all angles after the procedure. You can only see the aftermath of the dent if you are right up next to it with your eye against the door. For first timers there will be some trail and error. 3-4 attempts to get it right is not uncommon. Don't get frustrated. It works. Good results and a good product.
