I only like coffee with tons of bad things to disguise the flavor which is not healthy. I like tea but it is not convenient for a busy lifestyle. Throughout my life, I have struggled to find something that works for me for a caffeine boost/energy that is not negative on my health. Whether items had more issues than gain (soda) or short lived gsin and feeling worse after (energy drinks) or seems great at first but within a week to a month it becomes negative (certain supplements) or energy-specific supplements that are bad from the get-go, I have been through them all with some variations multiple times at different times in my life (Note-I am 50), so it's been a while! Finally; I have FOUND THE SOLUTION!!! Viter Energy is not just a game changer, but a true life changer! I have been using Viter Energy for two full and constant years and I can testify they work extremely well and have been free of side effects for me! I like the control you have to take just one, or in extreme situations four! Note that I always stay within the guidelines for safe amounts to take at one time and within a day. The amazing part is you can stay within the guidelines easily. Even at my most dire hour, it's always enough! Incredibly, you don’t build up a tolerance where you need to continually take more for it to be effective. I can have a morning where I feel dead, just a few hours of sleep wondering how I will get up, and take 3 or 4 and am renewed without jitters or issues! On occasion, I may take a little more than needed and may feel like I have had a little too much caffeine but since I have become knowledgeable about the amount that works for me so this is rare. Sometimes one or two is still very effective. Additional important key advantages include portability, convenience, and kick-in time which is quick! I buy the 8oz bags and refill the original tin I bought when I first tried the product. I carry it in my purse for afternoon slump (which I sometimes don’t have as there is no crash from taking Viter Energy) and on occasion, if I will have a late night after working, I will take a few in the early evening. The convenience of grab, take and done! I keep it in my bedside drawer so I can take a few when my alarm goes off...no getting out of bed to make or get coffee. As mentioned, the mints work fast. They are not instant when chewed and swallowed, but within 15 minutes you feel ready! There is no jolt or rush, just feels nice and that you are alert and ready to go, focus on work, or workout! I have tried a few flavors and although I would withstand a bad taste for this benefit there is no need; yet another plus! I highly prefer the chocolate mint. The flavor is nice and the chocolate tames down the mint flavor, making it pleasant without being overwhelming sharp or awful to consume! If you are still reading, I am sure you must be ordering! I know there are more people like me who have struggled to find that LIFE SOLUTION that you don’t have to gag down, is easy and fast to take, fast to work, no negative side effects (neither short not long term), convenient, healthy, and the price is great if you consider what you save on Starbucks or other caffeine sources that are less effective. Flavor Name: Chocolate Mint Size: 20 Count (Pack of 6)
I purchased this product to take on an upcoming cruise since getting my morning and afternoon energy drinks is hard when away from home. I chose the chocolate version based on reading other reviews and my personal taste. The seller contacted me, soon after delivery, to see how satisfied I was with the flavor, and when I told them I hadn't tried them yet since I was saving them to take on a trip, they offered to provide me with free samples of various flavors if I would review them. I accepted and received the samples and began trying them out. I found the wintergreen, peppermint, and Cinnamon flavors to be very strong and not particularly to my taste, but that is generally in line with my taste in general - those not being flavors I generally go for. If you are a fan of those flavors, you will likely appreciate them more than I did. Fair warning, they are NOT subtle, but the flavors are true. I found the chocolate flavor to be extremely nice. When it says chocolate mint, the emphasis should be on the mint, rather than on the chocolate. These are, after all, breath mints, not candies. But the chocolate flavor, in my opinion, smooths out the mint very well, which did not occur with the other flavors. I wouldn't use them to try to satisfy a chocolate craving. After all, these are not Girl Scout mint chocolate cookies, but as a breath mint, they are quite tasty and enjoyable. When it comes to mint, I am pretty much a spearmint person. For example, if I chew mint gum, it will always be spearmint. So the samples of spearmint suited me much better. They are pretty intense, so I likely wouldn't use them as often as I would the chocolate, which seem much smoother. But if I were looking to freshen my mouth AND boost my energy level, these would be a great choice. I will undoubtedly use them all, but I am quite certain that I will go through the chocolate ones much faster. The energy provided by all flavors seems to be quite good. So, far, over a few days, I have taken 3 per day, over the course of a couple of hours, when I was nodding off and wanted to remain alert. The boost seems quite smooth and not at all gittery. I like the fact that I can take them individually, over a period of time, and stop when the right level of energy boost is reached. The fact that you can put them under your tongue for more rapid dissolve and absorption, while still getting a rush of flavor, is also appreciated. Overall, I expect these to be quite a boon on my cruise. I will update my review once I have more long term results. But it appears that I made the right choice. Kudos to other reviewers and thanks to the seller for the free samples. UPDATE: Well, they worked great for all sorts of trips. They work so well that I purchased the 1/2 pound bag to refill the cute containers they originally came in. The containers are convenient for travel and easy to refill (and much cheaper) to buy in bulk. I use these at work or prior to my evening walk. Wry very minty fresh taste, just FYI. I love the tin they come in, so cute and old school, keeps them from being mashed as they roll around in my backpack. And when you don’t have time to drink that coffee or soda this is just as good if not better. Plus no more bad breath. The texture is smooth and they are round mints. Sugar free so that’s an added bonus. I buy them in a 6 pack which is cheaper but they are a bit expensive if you use them all day. I just use one or two a day usually morning and afternoon for that pick me up! ... show more

The peppermint flavor is very strong in my opinion. I like the convenience of the tin can to place in my backpack. I like the fact that they are sugar free and zero calories. I will have to try the chocolate mint flavor.

Flavor Name: Spearmint Size: 20 Count (Pack of 6)
The mints are delicious, and while the caffeine per mint is not that much, you can still feel a noticeable increase in energy. If you are a heavy caffeine user, you might need to take 2 mints at times to feel the full boost. I never experienced any jitters with these. The only downside is the price increase over a short period, which might make it difficult for me to order them as regularly as before despite all the benefits. ... show more

I'm honestly not sure if this actually works or if I'm placebo-ed, but it does seem to keep me from falling asleep in my lectures. My main complaint is that it doesn't taste good. I always have to chew super fast and drink a bunch of water afterwards in hopes of washing it all down and out of my mouth. It is also definitely not strong enough to freshen up your breath after a meal or anything. ... show more
