  • Vitamix is the best blender
Color: Black Style: Countertop Blenders
Bought this when Amazon had a $60 off deal on the black color. Vitamix products are expensive. Especially so, considering these are only blenders, but they are the best when it comes to blending anything you put into it and the durability, (though nothing is made like it used to be, even these.) I chose the cheaper model as I don't need the programs, nor the latest container sensing system, and the 48 oz container is just the right size for 3 of us. The 3" blades allow for smaller quantities if making a recipe for one. The other higher-priced models have 64 oz containers and 4" blades, but need a greater minimum quantity of ingredients to work correctly and immerse the blades. The 2 hp matches the 3" blades and does the same job as the 2.2 hp motor does on the larger containers. So, model choice really is down to minimum batch size and what bells and whistles you feel you want, but don't actually need! So far I haven't found fault with the E310. It does a fantastic job of blending anything I've put into it, as long as you follow the loading rules; liquids first, followed by lighter ingredients like leafy material, then heavier items like apples followed by heavy ice cubes. This ensures the blades start blending the easier stuff first and the heavier items weight the load down to maintain a feed into the blades until everything is flowing in a strong vortex, completing the blend. Made lots of smoothies and also some soup, heated by the Vitamix itself in 6 minutes or so. I did struggle with a frozen dessert, but I think that was because all the fruit ingredients were frozen solid and I missed the recommendation to let them thaw a little for 10-20 minutes on the counter before blending. The Vitamix had no problem breaking down the solid frozen lumps with the aid of the included tamper, but an air pocket kept forming around the blades and the mix didn't "flow" and produce the classic 4-segment, stiff vortex shape on the surface. Everything was too frozen. It did produce a nice sorbet though after much tampering! Clean-up is a breeze. You just rinse the container, add warm water with a couple drops of dish liquid and run at high speed. Rinse again and let dry. And that's it! Unlike other blenders, the blades are not razor sharp and it would be difficult to cut yourself on them if wiping out the container. The "wet" container blending is all about the blade shape, the speed of rotation (most times you are running at the highest speed of 10 and the only factor to think about is run-time) and the subsequent mixing vortex driving the ingredients into the blades. For flour and other dry seed blending, you need a "dry" container, supplied separately as an accessory, but over $100 !! Its blades are a different configuration and keep the fines from broken-down seeds in suspension in the container, while the heavier seeds fall back into the blades. You can, however, make nut butters in the supplied "wet" container using peanuts, almonds, etc.. The pulse function is good for "lumpy" salsa and for adding some chunks at the end of a blend for texture. I added some more baked potatoes and roasted cauliflower to the soup after blending to temperature. Then pulsed them to leave some larger chunks in the smooth soup. As with any high speed blender, these units are noisy, but we don't live in an apartment to have to worry about the noise! We are using the Vitamix every day for healthy fruit and vegetable smoothies and look forward to a long time doing so with the 5 year warranty. Vitamix customer service is reputed to be very good. I expect an even longer life from the unit as the Vitamix is well designed. ... show more

  • Love my Vitamix!
Color: Black Style: Countertop Blenders
My first Vitamix blender lasted 12 years and still worked, but had oil on bottom of the pitcher. Wasn't sure if it was the blade or the gasket, but figured after twelve good years it was time for a new one. I got the Explorian E310 in July of 2025 and so far, so good. The base is not as heavy as my last one, which I actually like, but it does move around my granite countertops a little bit. I use for mainly for mixing my daily fruit and vegetable smoothie. I use frozen fruit and ice and the Vitamix has no issues with that whatsoever. In comparing the Vitamix to the Ninja (my daughter has the Ninja), the Vitamix out performs the Ninja. It pulverizes what you put in it! And I like that the Vitamix only has one "very sharp" blade at the bottom, as it makes for easier cleaning. ... show more

  • Simply amazing.
Color: Black Style: Countertop Blenders
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can't express how much I adore my Vitamix E310 blender! This machine is an absolute powerhouse in the kitchen and has transformed the way I prepare meals. From smoothies to soups to nut butters, this blender handles everything with ease. The build quality is exceptional - sturdy, durable, and built to last. The powerful motor effortlessly blends even the toughest ingredients to a silky smooth consistency in seconds. I love how versatile it is; I can easily switch between the variable speed controls and pulse feature to achieve the perfect texture every time. Cleaning is a breeze too! The self-cleaning function saves me so much time and effort. I appreciate the simple design and high-quality materials used in the construction of this blender. Overall, the Vitamix E310 has exceeded my expectations in every way. It's a true kitchen workhorse and a must-have for anyone serious about cooking or healthy eating. I highly recommend this blender to anyone looking for a top-of-the-line appliance that delivers exceptional results. ... show more

  • The greatest blender there is!
Color: Black Style: Countertop Blenders
I have gone through 3 $50 blenders in the past 3 years. After the 3rd died, I took a few months to think about what my blender needs were and how I wanted to proceed with replacing yet another blender. I polled all of my friends and co-workers, and was told to take the plunge and invest in a Vitamix. Though it made me nauseous to spend so much money on one item when I am unsettled and am still living in apartments, I finally hit the order button when Amazon had a sale on this model for $299 plus free next day shipping. That was 2 weeks ago, and I have used my Vitamix every day since to make smoothies or homemade acai bowls. While it's going to take a lot more than that to pay for itself, it blows all of the other blenders I've had out of the water. Here are some of the reasons why I love it: 1. It's SO easy to clean. I don't have a dishwasher, so this was important to me. I considered a Ninja because they're more reasonably priced, but a lot of them have multiple blades and it seemed to difficult to hand wash them without slicing up my hands every morning. With the Vitamix, all you do is rinse it out with cold water, fill it up with warm water, add a drop of dish soap, and let it blend itself clean. It's hassle free even in the mornings before work! 2. It blends everything smoothly. No more icky spinach chunks or chia seeds in my teeth. 3. Because it's so easy, I've been eating so much healthier in the mornings instead of grabbing a breakfast bar on the go. The only thing I will say is that it is really loud. I wear ear plugs to sleep and I honestly leave them on while blending my morning breakfast. I am sure my college-aged neighbors hate me every morning, but I tolerate their drunk antics at night, so we're even in my eyes. I know that I can use this thing for a lot more than just smoothies and acai bowls, but I'm not sure if it can beat my food processor for all of the tougher jobs like homemade nut butters, so for now I'll probably stick to using it for my daily breakfast. If you're tired of spending money on blenders that just don't cut it and want something low-maintenance and easy to clean, this is for you! Based on how hardy it is, I'm convinced it's going to last years. ... show more

  • Amazing product and customer service
Color: Black Style: Countertop Blenders
Lets face it, if your looking at this blender already then its not a matter of if you want it, but a matter of whether you want to spend this much on a blender. Well, I've had mine for a few weeks now and can say it is totally worth the investment! I make delicious healthy smoothies every day now. Just like having a Jamba Juice in your house. I even made a green smoothie with spinach and kale the other day and it had a completely smooth texture, no leafy bits or stems whatsoever. Plenty of power! Easy to clean too. I usually just rinse it after each use and then blend water with a drop of soap for a minute every other use. Couldnt be easier. Its a hefty boy though! But thats the trade off for all that power. And it stays put while blending too with no walking or virbrating all over the counter. 3 year update: The machine has been running strong. However after 3 years, the blade shaft bearings siezed up in the middle of a blend. I called up Vitamix customer service since it is still within the 5 year warranty. I got an actual person from Ohio on the phone right away. Explained what had happened, gave her the serial number of the unit, and within about 5 minutes she shipped out a new pitcher for free under warranty. Yes, the pitcher is covered under warranty too! She told me to test the base with the new pitcher to make sure it wasnt damaged when the other pitcher seized, and if so to call back to set up a repair. Within a week my new pitcher was deliver and the machine is running better than ever. Absolutely stellar customer service. I would give Vitamix 6 stars if i could! ... show more

  • Good with some flaws
Color: Black Style: Countertop Blenders
I think the vitamin brand is great! I’m giving this four stars for a few reasons: 1. Note that this comes with a smaller sized pitcher and while we knew that going into this purchase it was way smaller than I expected when it arrived and so I will probably need to purchase an additional larger one (which ultimately will increase the overall cost of this). 2. The pitcher doesn’t seat nicely when running, meaning that the motor is so strong it tries to pull the pitcher with it. For what you pay for this that seems like a basic design feature that should have been worked out by vitamix people are investing tons of money in these things with the expectation that it’s the highest quality. 3. If you don’t use a blender frequently, don’t assume you will because you bought an expensive high quality one. I suggest really understanding how you plan to use this weekly in order to get the value for the money. We use ours at least twice a week so it made sense to invest. 4. Vitamix mixers are LOUD! Just know this going into it. It’s a powerful motor (which is what you want) and with that comes noise. Overall - I would buy this again with the larger pitcher. Key notes: it’s loud, has some design flaws and make sure you will use it frequently to get your money’s worth ... show more

  • This thing is a beast
Color: Black Style: Countertop Blenders
We started drinking smoothies about 2 years ago and we started with a Ninja smoothie maker, which we still have, but longer use it. Since we were new to smoothies, we just assumed that there was some chewing involved when you have smoothies, because that was what we got from on our Ninja. After about a year, a friend had mine had me try his new smoothie mix. What I noticed the most was how smooth his smoothie was. I asked what he was making his smoothie with, he said a Nutribullet. So we bought a 1200 watt Nutribullet which made great smoothies, but it died within the first month. We replaced that blender with another Nutribullet, same result, burned out within the month. I never intended to buy a Vitamix because of the cost, but if it works and doesn't burn, it's actually cheaper. I bought the E310 because it was the cheapest model that I could find. It works great and blends like a beast - super smooth smoothies, no more chewing our drinks. ... show more

Color: Black Style: Countertop Blenders
It's a Vitamix, it's awesome. Delivery on time... I am concerned about the carafe. it seems to be lose. I've had a Vitamix since the early 1970's. All my carafe's fit snug on the base. have the 48oz Carafe now I've only had the 98oz (short and tall, loved them both. I'm hitting my 70's and it's just my wife and I so the smaller is perfect. However I am concerned about the fit. Don't want to mess up the drive hub (for lack of more accurate description) Again, for health and cost effective diet, this is perfect for 2 people... Should I be concerned? Thanks. ... show more
