i bought this on sale and it costs the same as a stand alone ultra with just the cups! so far, it has been working well. it does tend to stop blending if there are a lot of ice or frozen products in it, so i suggest adding more liquid so it has an easier time blending. i can feel the strength while it blends. it is loud but blending anything shouldn't take more than a minute anyways. i like that it is compact and easy to store away. i could of gotten a cheaper blender but the sale price was too good to miss. Definitely recommend if you can get it on sale. ... show more

I'm giving 5 stars despite the food processor being not ready for prime time. The blender is not as quiet as I'd anticipated but it made a great smoothy drink and the grinder attachment is almost the star of the show...I like a very fine grind for coffee and this excels at grinding coffee beans (read: fine grind Turkish style without really trying)...overall, trying to be one too many things at once but definitely a keeper for the blender and grinder.... ... show more
