I was skeptical about how well this adheres to the skin and if it remained dry. I applied it 1 hour before getting dressed and putting on strappy heels. I was sure to AVOID using any oil-based products on my skin prior and after. No smudging or smearing (though I was still careful not to intentionally scrape by skin where I applied it). No oil needed for sheen because this bronzing color already contains a sheen; a natural looking luster to the skin. I used a body-makeup brush applicator for even application. Worked perfectly! The single-coat application lasted for hours. Absolutely recommend this one. I finally found one that works as I wanted it to!! It washes off easily, too. I’m torn on this one, which is why I gave it three stars. It is my first time using body make up instead of a self tanner. I am very fair skin with reddish undertones. Irish, through and through. 57 years old, so older skin. I love the color! It goes on very easy and it is just enough to give some coverage that is even, hydrating and a little shimmer. The only drawback is that it comes off. I have light sheets and even though I leave it on until it’s totally dry and maybe I’ve been out for the day or the evening, the next day it is all over my sheets. Still looks good on my skin, but the color definitely transferred. Just keep this in mind and in case you are at somebody’s house and sitting on light furniture, or your own. I will still use it for certain things, but will go back to self tanner instead. ... show more

    • Bad! Rubs off on everything and applies blotchy!

This product is horrible. It takes forever to “dry” and never actually dries so it rubs off on everything you’re wearing and everything you touch. Also does not blend in well at all and when you apply the small dots to be blended out as instructed, you can see the dotted areas where the product was applied. I tried this for several days, and trying several different application methods and each time seemed worse than the last. The last straw for me was when I applied this product and was wearing a light colored shirt, only to discover that the product had rubbed off on my shirt and not only made a mess on my clothes, but also left me looking patchy and blotchy. Also, the product doesn’t blur anything. It just gives you a light glow like a self tanner would (but worse). All around this is a no for me, and I’m thankful the product can be returned because it’s absolutely not worth the $40. If you’re looking for a dupe for the expensive body blur brand, just save and buy the OG product. Cause this isn’t it. ... show more

This performs as a makeup but it is not easy to apply. I purchased a brush for application which helps but it took a while to get it applied and then it doesn’t look entirely even because there are patches/streaks. Also, it should be noted that there is a lot of glitter in this. I thought it was going to be more of a bronzed shimmer…nope, straight up glitter legs and the glitter gets on everything! ... show more
