We use this when we travel with our dogs camping and it’s perfect. The hardware that comes with it for easy travel (pack up) was great and it’s a great size for big or small dogs. Easy set up and take down as well.

Bought two 40" sets, installed it outside. Installation was straightforward. There was no problem attaching the two sets together. It keeps my 20 lb puppy safely, and will accommodate his growth. The stakes jam down into the dirt well, even in rocky New England soil. I didn't find a way to install it firmly on a brick patio, so I worked around it. I love the black/silver hammer finish paint. There were various accessories I didn't use that let you use it indoors. The sets include some Velcro straps I didn't see the purpose for, but are presumably good for something. If you install the segments in a straight line, they become easy to tip over. A little curvature or zigzag is needed, and then it's firm. ... show more

My dog is not very big, but he was able to jump this without much effort at all. I’m still giving it a good review because it’s really sturdy and the pins you use to put in the ground really anchor it in. For a dog who doesn’t jump, or maybe some ducklings that you are introducing to the outside, this would be great. Not difficult to assemble, but since you are staking it into the ground when you put it up it seems it would be a pain if you tried to move it often. ... show more

Was not as big as I had originally expected, but it does the job with containment of my two dogs. This was on the price scale a little cheaper than some of the others that I priced on here, but it appears that it's worth every penny. It was super easy to assemble and looks nice. The pen is super easy to setup and for a calm docile dog it’s great. However, for my large dog it did not uphold. He was able to rip of the wire mesh and eventually was able to rip the gate in half. He was also able to jump out of the top. So we had to add hog fencing on top to try and keep him in… that’s when he ate through the door. ... show more

I’m very happy with this 40-inch pet playpen. It was easy to assemble, feels sturdy, and gives my pug plenty of room to move around and play. The height is perfect—it keeps my dog safely inside while still allowing good visibility. I use it outdoors under a canopy, and it fits together really well. The panels are strong, the gate is convenient, and you can arrange the shape however you need. If you’re looking for a durable, spacious playpen for your dog, I highly recommend this product.
