The Viper Revolution Sure Grip Pro 58-Inch, 2-Piece Billiard Cue is constructed from quality hard Canadian Maple wood. Created in multiple solid, glossy colors with 9 coats of chip resistant varnish to prevent warping and a light metallic flaked top coat for detail. Featuring lightweight ABS joints which help provide consistent feedback during play. It's available in 18-21 ounce cue weights, offering a customizable assortment. The Viper Revolution Sure Grip Pro cues feature the latest performance grip technology through their rubberized spiral wrap which offers a tension free stroke and comfort every time. Each billiard cue is finished off with a 13mm Le Pro leather tip and a traditional rubber bumper.

I saw this the design caught my eye and I wanted something a lil lighter for the diamond tables ! Mind u I’m a lil hard on my cues ! Getting back into playing and have been using the cheapo sticks available that have to be spun to find a straightish section. This Viper is straight and true, balanced well. Immediately made shots that were impossible with a bent cue. Only drawback is the hard tip it comes with. I got the red and black and it looks perfect, feels great, and seems like it will stand up to my harder shooting approach. I see this model for $25+ offered elsewhere. Nice buy. ... show more

This was my first and last experience with GLD, I was looking for a nice but budget minded cue for a gift. As soon as I held it I knew there were problems because I ordered a 21 and I'd be surprised if it was 18 oz, I've been playing regularly for 35 years and I don't care what the sticker says on this cue it's nowhere near 21 oz. There is a soft plastic (like TPU used in phone cases) protector on the threads, which is nice, and oddly enough another one covering the tip. The tip looks okay, leather and not rock hard, but it needs shaped a little. It's not a bad tip for a budget cue since I'd typically shape a new tip anyway.. The handle on this cue is pretty nice, nice color and doesn't feel cheap, but the shaft on this one had a distinct bend just before the tip. GLD doesn't put these in any kind of substantial package, just a cheap cloth & plastic sheath with a drawstring, this means it comes bouncing in a box all the way to your door. Maybe it was straight when it left the manufacturer but I'll personally never try another one of theirs because of the poor packaging and weight issue. I feel if they would have invested in a box at the manufacturer and raised the price of the cue a buck to cover the overhead it would have been money well spent and maybe I'd have just returned it for another and hoped to get the correct weight but I started a return because I can't see the logic in getting another poorly packed, warped cue. ... show more
