I needed to replace my Rigid table saw since the fence kept moving on me which created many uneven cuts. I did my research and decided that the 10" Oliver job site table saw was the best fit for me and at a reasonable price w/o compromising what I needed out from a table saw and be mobile so my wife could still park in the garage. It included the safe guard, riving knife, the push stick, miter gauge, a table extender, & a sturdy fence that could extend further compare to my previous Rigid saw & more. It took me less than 15 minutes to put together the whole saw after unboxing it. The cuts are clean and moving the blade was so smooth & its way more quiet than the Rigid saw. Perfect. After reviewing several different brands, I chose the Oliver table saw. It has a much more precise fence than some other brans that I looked at as well as name recognition from a quality tool maker .

I have been doing woodworking for over 50 years. I’m now in my 80’s and semi-retired. My wife and I decided it was time to downsize which meant a smaller workshop. I sold my General cabinet makers table saw, my 12 inch Robland jointer/planer, my Delta sanding center and various other machines and tools that were just too large to fit into my new shop space. The thing I missed most was my table saw. I have been doing research for a few months, comparing every jobsite saw available. The saw that really caught my interest was the Oliver model 10010 jobsite table saw. If you’re familiar with the Oliver Machinery Company, you know they make monster machines with tons of iron. They’ve been around for over a 100 years and even their used machines are highly sought after. They finally had a black Friday special, on the model 10010 jobsite saw, which included a huge discount and free shipping. That did it. I ordered it immediately. I had a few questions so I called the company. A gentleman by the name of Tony called me back. If you ever deal with the Oliver company ask for Tony. He’s wonderful, extremely knowledgeable and very helpful , just a great guy. My saw arrived yesterday. I’ve set it up and made my first cut. This is an outstanding piece of engineering. They have thought of everything. They’ve used very high quality materials. This thing is build to last. The instruction manual is one of the best written manuals I’ve ever seen. They covered every little detail. Setting up the saw was easy and everything lined up perfectly. I love the variable speed feature especially when using the sanding disk that comes with the saw. As I mentioned earlier I gave up a Delta sanding center that had a large sanding disk. This one takes the place of it beautifully. What a great feature. One of my major concerns was dust collection. This saw has a two and a half inch dust port that hooks up perfectly to my cyclone dust collection system, making it practically dust free. The entire lower part of the blade is encapsulated preventing saw dust from escaping into the room. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a smaller table saw that won’t break the bank. Not only is it built to last but you have a company that’s going to be around for another hundred years. ... show more
