These Vivek racks are great when you need to create a closet where there isn't one! I love that they are easy to put together, you can customize them how you want them, just research a little and choose the best ones for your needs, they have a bunch. I am a plus size girl so I had to adjust the location of the rod so my hangers didn't hit the cover in the back, but once you figure out your placement of that stuff your golden. And the cover is optional, some come with it, some don't, this one does. It just slides over the top all zipped up in the beginning and then you can tie it to the poles and secure it. You can leave it open or keep it zipped up to you. Also, some come with wheels, some don't. This one doesn't, so be mindful of that, the ones that do though lock so it won't move around. Lastly, these are sturdy enough that ypu can have a little storage on top as well, like I put my empty suitcase up there put of the way. I wasn’t willing to commit to ikea pax prices when turning the room within my bedroom into a large closet, so I got two different pieces from this brand and they are honestly great!! Easy to put together and carry as a 5’5 not particularly strong girl. They hold a lot of clothes and can fit 4 large cloth bins on top and 2 on bottom. I’d def but from this brand again. Whacking the slots in with a rubber mallet can scuff the white but you can get it off super easy, I used an alcohol swab.lol ... show more

I'm a handy guy but not gonna lie, this thing was a biznitch to put together. In my (much) younger days I worked in a home improvement store. Part of my duties were assembling things like this, and over the years I've put together a lot of similar things. I read the manual carefully, then laid all the parts out. But my enthusiasm over a new place to hang my capes waned until I was one angry vampire. It seems quite sturdy and it's a good price--a quality item, but not sure I'd buy again because of the assembly ordeal. The assembly directions are rudimentary. Have a pair of heavy duty nippers handy to cut the thick plastic zip-ties. Don't assume anything, follow the directions carefully and good luck. Dracula ... show more

Assembly was manageable, especially considering I’m not handy at all. It’s seemed a bit flimsy at first but once I started placing clothing on the rack I could tell it was very sturdy. Overall I’m satisfied.

It’s rickety even when we’ll built. It’s a hassle to put together - unless you have a couple hours to mess around with it. Doesn’t think it’s solid enough to hold up well, sits unevenly on my floor despite meticulous measuring and leveling it as it was constructed

These wardrobes assemble just like any "Metro Cart" shelving. There are 2 part plastic clips with ridges for locking into the groves on the posts. In the case of this unit, the poles are smaller diameter than the shelving units I am used to. The wire shelving is also of lighter weight construction. When assembled the wardrobe seems sturdy enough for off season storage (provided you don't over load or try to move) the wardrobe.
