Decided to give this a try versus ones yoy get in the stores. We have two dogs that love spending time outside and i always feel like my carpets still stink after shampooing. After using this my house smells fresh. I actually use this in my tineco as well and in my mop bucket. This stuff is great.

First off, I will say that I have sensory sensitivities and smell is one of the major ones for me; so please keep that in mind. I have an 18-year-old dog and he just goes to the restroom where he wants when he is too tired to walk to his pads. He has a tendency to go in my daughters room and our living room rug. I used this carpet cleaner to see if it would help eliminate the urine smells. It does a great job of getting stains and the urine smell was gone. However, there was the smell of the cleaner that lasted almost two weeks, and it made me cough. I had some really horrific, old stains in the carpet in my rental's basement. I tried a variety of methods to remove the stains (the origins of which, I'll be honest, range from pet accidents to cocktail drink spills) and nothing worked. I saw the price point and reviews for this product, so I decided to give it a shot. I used it as soon as it came in - and I was shocked by how quick, easy, and effective it was. Didn’t smell like I thought it would and it was super sudsy so I had to go over my carpet multiple times with plain water. I used the recommended amount as well. My carpet does look very nice though so that’s why I’m giving it a 3 of 5. Since we don’t have much carpet in our home and not that much is used at a time (even less now that I know the bottle says to use too much), this should last a while. ... show more

This stuff smells terrific! My dog threw up on my brand new couch. I had used nature's miracle to surface clean the cushion, but an odor still remained. So I ordered Carpet Miracle to use in a carpet spot cleaning machine. I diluted in a spray bottle with water. The cushion now smells fresh and there is no stain.
