Unlike most other reviewers here, I didn't buy these to use in a tent. I wanted good quality led panels for use on a wire rack system for seed starting. I landed on these because they were the only-well reviewed panel I could find which came in the necessary dimensions. I purchased the largest size (11" x 39.4") because it would fit between the upright legs of my wire rack and extend slightly beyond the length of each 3 foot shelf. I purchsed 3. After seed starting I will use these for a planned indoor greenhouse cabinet build that will house my anthurium collection. The build quality of these is excellent and the mechanical output adjustment works well. I started some Jerusalem Artichoke and Apios tubers early this season. I had planned to store them until spring but it became obvious that they were not going to survive until then if I didn't get them planted (They were shriveling and many had become soft with areas of decay). They've been planted in nursery pots about 2 weeks now and the largest plants are already about 6 inches tall. They're going to be blooming by the time they can be planted outdoors at this rate! I've just started my first early seedlings (snapdragons) and will update how well they work for that purpose at a later time. They do get warm, but not so hot that they burn if touched. 3 panels in my 9' x 12' mudroom keep the space warm enough that I won't need heat mats. If you're looking for quality led panels, these appear to function well and are a good value for the price.

These grow lights are very high-end high quality you can tell when you pull it out of the package they're extremely bright I highly recommend you use a meter app on your phone to set them at the right brightness or you'll burn your plants they're that bright but they work very well consistently reliably and they make your plants grow thick and healthy as opposed to thin and lanky if you have it set right there's no reason your plant should get leggy at all I feel that they are worth the price for these units and they've only improved them on each new model I have four of these and use them strictly for seed starting on a rolling rack system so I love that you can adjust the brightness there's a dial on the side of it to adjust the level of brightness because I can't raise and lower the picture itself so this allows me to reduce the intensity on the young plant so they don't get burned and as the plant grows up closer you can turn it down it comes with a jack that you can link them together to operate on a controller to each one and daisy chain them together

Perfect! Gives off so much light you can tell it’s a good working light. Made my plants go “😍😍😍” and get nice and tall. It doesn’t come with a timer but it’s perfect still. Easy to set up, you might need extra things to hang it on but it’s a little heavy but not dramatically just heavier than you’d expect. the cords aren’t flimsy it’s definitely durable, and the heat coming from it is perfect!

Upgraded to this light for starting my pepper plants, and so far, all is good. Setting it up was quick and easy, and I'm very pleased with the suspension system. Adjusting the height is so much easier than my old metal-hydride setup. The power cord is a little on the short side, but I was able to adapt my power system. The light does generate some heat, but not nearly as much as my old setup. The dimmer works perfectly and does turn the light off when set to zero. The intensity of the light is amazing! Even when I had it set to 40%, I had to increase the height of the lamp to protect the plants. The 4 X 2 coverage is good, but I do rotate the plants, so everyone gets equal shares. The light is not being used in a grow tent. I do wish that there was a built-in timer though, but that isn't a deal breaker. I just use my old timer. Some have expressed concerns about some of the red LEDs not working or are dim. Those malfunctioning, or dim LEDs are IR emitters. Our eyes are unable to see IR. We sense it as heat. Overall, I'm very pleased with this grow light! I do wish that it was a little bit lighter weight wise, but I only use a grow light for about 2 months out of the year so suck it up buttercup, lol! It will be interesting to see if everything is the same after all of the plants have been transplanted, the light has been put into storage and set up for next year's season. Will it perform the same? I will update if there are any changes, but at this point I'm very pleased and the plants are loving it! Highly Recommended!

This is a high-quality industrial-grade piece of equipment. I purchased it for starting veggies from seed in my house. It’s slim and encased in a metal housing with cooling fins. The LED surface is protected by a lamination. It comes with ratcheting mounting hooks and ropes. 100% power is much more than I need for seedlings so I am able to run this at 50% at 16 inches high, which will only consume about 35 W. Previously, I tried out one of these consumer level lights sold at a home improvement store, which was made of flimsy, plastic and terrible snapping plastic connections. This unit has an industrial hardwired power cord. Great value.

I picked this up for a small indoor plant setup, and it’s been working really well so far. The biggest things I like are the brightness adjustment and the pulley-style height system. Being able to raise and lower the light quickly makes it easy to adapt as plants grow, and the dimming feature helped me dial things in without overdoing it. I even used a light meter app to fine-tune the intensity, and this light gave me plenty of control to get it where I wanted. The light output itself is strong and consistent, and the color looks natural compared to some of the purple-tinted grow lights I’ve used in the past. It’s easier to actually see the plants clearly and monitor their health, which is a nice bonus. Setup was straightforward, and the included hanging hardware made it easy to get positioned where I needed it. The power cord is about 4 feet long, which was more than adequate for my setup, and the cable itself feels thick and well-built. One thing to be aware of is that the top of the unit does get warm during use. It’s noted in the safety instructions, and in my case it wasn’t an issue since I have it set up in the garage and out of the way, but it’s something to keep in mind depending on your setup. Overall, solid grow light with good adjustability and output. I’d definitely recommend it for small to medium indoor growing setups.

So, my home was not blessed with sunny windows. However, my wife and I really want plants. We currently have 5....yes....5. P1000s. And will probably buy more. These lights are AWESOME. The color isnt that aweful pink. It looks just like the other lights in the house, which was a big deal for me. This is the upgraded one. YES, it can be turned off without unplugging it (something all the reviews on youtube complained about not having). All my plants under these lights are giving explosive growth. Vibrant color, and flowering. (Nepenthes, philodendrons, begonias, Persian shields, Orchids, theres a bunch. And i only run them at about 40 or 50%) I dont have anything bad to say about these lights. If your on the fence. BUY IT. They are really awesome. And the price is fantastic compared to other lights in its class.
