Tight fit in my ipower 3x3 love the long wires to feed the light and power supply, heat is about the same as my viper p2000 different air flow with bar style light than the big board style still trying to dial in my VPD now can’t wait to see plant flourish , I resurched this light it has the best power per watt to led par output 30% better coverage , all the others show to much parr in the middle and weak corners , my other viper light is 200 watts p2000 and works wonderfully I got like 9 ounce out of 2 plants with 200 watts viper spectra is the best value hand down, I waited and watched the price of this light go up and down for a year then it dropped below 200 to 189 so I jumped on it very nice light big beautiful power supply with long cord love this light company very good stuff ... show more

This is my second light as I am upgrading my 4x4 to a 5x10ft tent. These lights are awesome for home grow tents. They fit the bill and going home from a commercial grow with CO2 to my homegrow tents without CO2, these are perfect and fill the tent from corner to corner on a 4 x 4, but they will flower a 5 x 5 as I flower them on 75% power max and get a nice yield with 4x4 and 100% is overkill without co2 or a higher ceiling, 5x5 area/tent. Highly effective! This light is fantastic. My previous light came with my 3x3 tent (vivosun) which is the folding gimmicky light that has adjustable side panels that completely suck. This light is a solid choice for anyone using a 3x3 tent or a 5x5 (KS5000) Very bright, and I have no burn issues whatsoever. I like that the driver is detachable and can be stored outside of the tent which keeps the temps down. There’s a lot of nice lights out there and I put this light in the elite category. MarsHydro makes a nice light that is very similar, but this light just feels like quality and if you decide on one, you’ll see what I mean. ... show more

    • Great light at this price point
This isn't the absolute brightest light you can get, but at this price you are not going to beat this. Plenty of light for all phases and the panel style has really good light uniformity across a 4x4 space. With that said, this is not going to replace a 1000 watt HPS. You are pulling 500 watts from the wall with this light, and you'll get around half the PAR that a good quality HPS can do; However, you will get the same PAR at the corners as an HPS due to the better uniformity of the panel design, which is becoming standard in LED lights. You also will not have the heat management you would with an HPS. I would call this a very solid starter or budget light. You will get very good results using it. If you're looking to get the same light output as an HPS, be prepared to spend around 3 - 5 times this much but make sure you are running everything that can take advantage of that kind of light (C02, etc...). For me, I have a larger tent with a couple higher end lights and I just didn't want to break the bank to fill out the space. I have good overlapping light from the space and this light does everything I need it to do. ... show more

Love this light easy to install very light weight adjustable brightness is great and bright very seems to be a very well built light I've pulled two plant from under this light and will be buying more in the near future it's priced under other brands that are not as bright

In my 4 different 3x3's , you name it, I've had it in there light wise. The problem with all of them in a 3x3 was heat. Aci evo, and the marshydro evo's run so hot. This one with tent zipped up, on 100% during flower will only get my tent up to 76°ish. The coverage is the most even of all the lights for a 3x3. It does not have center hot spots, which is cool because unless you're only running one plant centered, that center area isn't as crucial as the overall coverage. No light burn either. No co2 needed at all. This is also the cheapest light I run. Running the new HLG Scorpion Diablo V2'2 in my 5x5s. So I didn't buy this because the lower price. In 2 months lost 40% intensity. *update* I'm currently getting this grow light repaired or replaced. I've been bouncing between various tests at their request, and now it's finally time to ship it back. They’ll only send the replacement once they receive the defective unit. For a product that’s critical to a grow cycle, the return process feels severely lacking—you're either without a light entirely or forced into buying a backup. the KS5000 is a dope light, Its built well, came perfect condition everything has been running smoothly right out the box. Out of all my lights this light stays the coolest, even compared to some 200 watt lights I have set up. It might not push the hardest compared to some higher priced lights, but it pushes hard enough unless you are supplementing with C02, that doesnt really matter. I will be buying another one. The only thing I cant speak on, is customer service. But hopefully if I ever need them, they will show up. This is a good purchase for your indoor garden. Will update a little further down the road with some more use. -update So I bought a second KS5000 and it works perfectly right out the box, 2 for 2 on this light. It's not the most powerful, its not the game changing tech. BUT its a solid light, ESPECIALLY if you don't use C02. ive never had to reach out to customer service so i cant speak on that, but if your thinking about this light and you're on the fence. Buy it, its cheaper than Mars and Spider and performs agruably the same if not better ... show more
