  • Just what I needed for outdoor vinyl repair
After a long winter, the snow finally melted to show a crack in the front of my deck box. Ordered these, slapped the sticker on the interior, over the crack, and it’s like it never happened. These will come in handy with my vinyl siding too, as the neighbor kid likes to aim golf balls at my house. Holding up to rain and wind storms we’ve recently had. ... show more

  • 5 stars
Model: Thin 10pcs
I stuck this on a spot that made contact with a weedeater. It was on white vinyl that is hammered by the sun. I stuck on the patch and have since forgotten about the hole. It's sticking well and hid the hole. I'm happy. Easy fix.

  • A bit thin but do work
These worked to patch up a fence, however they are a bit thin. I was expecting them to be a little thicker for durability. These do stick well and are easy to cut to size. The matte look/texture matches my fence so that is also a plus.

  • Vinyl siding repair kit patches
Model: Thin 10pcs
White vinyl siding repair patches come 10 in a pack, they are cut in squares for easy applications and functionality. the thickness is decent to adhere and fit comfortably.. Using these was very easy, but I let my husband do this project and they turned out pretty good. Can't really say how the adhesion is, or the durability just yet. I would have to see how they stand up to the rain. But what I can say is if you cut these just enough to fit the patch in deciding that you're trying to repair, they work pretty good. I did notice that my husband cut them in kind of a jagged shape around it, and then took his finger and brushed back-and-forth against the patch and after doing that It seemed to work pretty good.. good value for the money. i did notice when putting this patch over a section that had a open hole. You can't see the damage from a distance but if you're standing directly over top of it you can still see that there's a hole so I guess a dding a little bit of paint to touch that up wooden hurt. ... show more

  • Not a miracle, but worth $6 and 5 minutes of your time. Not for anal people. Set your expectations.
Model: 5PCS
No, this won't make your siding look flawless, but there's a time and place for it, and I'm happy with it for the price and time it took. For $7 and less than an hour of my life, I patched 9 holes well enough to keep water and critters out, and while they CAN be found if you look for them, they draw a whole lot less attention than the ragged gaping dark holes they used to be. To fix them right I'd have to either source and haul home 12' long matching siding planks and a siding removal tool, cut them neatly, remove the old planks and put in the new ones. Or fill the holes with caulk or Bondo, wait for it to cure, cut it flush, somehow duplicate the wood grain texture, and hope the color matches. I've got enough home projects already, and life is short. I will pick my battles and settle for these. The product photo is quite misleading. If there's an actual hole, with missing material, these patches will NOT mask the missing material. It's just not opaque enough. You'll see a shadow of the hole, as shown in my first photo. And the edges are definitely visible. But as a DIYer, I can attest that casual observers will most likely not notice these things if they don't know they're there and the fixes don't actively draw the eye, which these don't. I included a photo of the whole wall so you can decide for yourself how glaring it is. Honestly, if your houseguests are scrutinizing your vinyl siding, either you need to up your party host game, or you need better friends. The short side is the same width as one siding plank, so if you cut along the short side, each piece will be just long enough for the bottom edge to be tucked under the bottom lip of the siding, and the top edge to hide under the top lip. It looks better, and provides better protection against pressure washers. I wish the backing had cutting grids printed on them though. It's the same shade of white and matte sheen as cookie cutter white vinyl siding, so if you have a cookie cutter house like ours, you're in luck. Clean before you apply to bring the surrounding area back to pristine white. As with any repair involving glue, the area needs to be dust-free. I sprayed with 90% alcohol, which evaporates fast, removes grease and doesn't harm PVC, which is susceptible to many solvents in cleaners. Don't peel the backing off all at once. Use the technique that allowed me to apply contact paper to entire countertops bubble-free: peel off just one thin strip at one edge, fold the backing out of the way, position and hold the still-covered sheet where you want it, THEN stick down the edge. Then grab the backing edge and pull it back slowly while following immediately behind it with firm pressure, rubbing side to side along the entire width. It's somewhat repositionable, but creases will not flatten out, so keep it taut whenever the adhesive is exposed. I couldn't do that with one patch - the crushed siding caused the surrounding surface to be too concave and the patch couldn't conform to it, so I'll have to live with the crease. ... show more

  • Great vinyl siding repair kit
Model: Thin 10pcs
When cutting my lawn the lawnmower found a rock and it threw it with enough force to break a piece of Vinyl siding, this repair kit took care of the crack quickly and expediently, so easy to use, clean the surface, peel the backing and press in place. That’s it highly recommend it
