Love the quality of the wood- the color, textures, and thickness are perfect for crafting with my Cricut. Less pressure and more passes make it successful. I do reenforce the veneer with a layer of cardstock in between 2 pieces of veneer because while they are thin enough to cut with the Cricut I don't want to risk them breaking. Very happy with my variety of veneer ..so impressed on shipping it was carefully wrapped and labeled fragile. Had great info on the wood and instructions for cricut users I am using mine in a glowforge ..no instructions or concerns for them so hopefully it will cut great.

I had a couple of pieces that were rippled instead of flat. But the overwhelming majority of the pieces I received are fantastic, pretty (not perfectly) consistent in size and thickness, and come in a broad range of colors and grains. One of these pieces is so beautiful that I don't know if I can bring myself to use it! I think next time, I'll order the seller's package of labeled pieces. I thought I'd be able to find images online to identify these, but alas, my untrained eye is just not yet good enough to tell some of these apart. ... show more

This is amazing. I've been doing laser engraves into my speargun collection because I want to. This collection of wood gives me a huge selection of colors and patterns and tones to go from mundane inlays of Mahi and turtles, etc, to marquetry of stunning examples loved by all except some unfortunate fish. I purchased these because of the price being so low to be honest. I had low expectations, but wanted to give it a try. I was really surprised how fast they shipped and really really surprised when I started looking through all of the pieces. They are high quality with a large variety of different species. There was a couple little warps in the pieces but that’s normal when you’re dealing with very thin and small pieces of veneer. I couldn’t be more happy with them. I do inlay work and it’s important to be meticulous about the quality of materials I use. These definitely fit my standards and I will be back in the future. It's my first time using veneer, I was debating on buying these for a long time, I finally did and I'm impressed. They all arrived perfectly flat, no warping, and almost all the exact same thickness and size. The variety of colors and species was lackluster they were almost all the same color but I'm not complaining since it saves me time trying to stain everything to compliment each other in projects. They are so easy to cut with just scissors and sand pretty well. They are very delicate depending on the direction of the grain so pay attention when cutting and sanding. I used them in my laser engraver and they engrave beautifully, I haven't tried laser cutting them yet but I think they will work perfectly if I use a more powerful watt laser. I used them to make a miniature dollhouse all cut by scissors it was so fast and easy I'm in love and will definitely come back here to repurchase when I run out. ... show more
