The media could not be loaded. This turntable is a great choice for those seeking to immerse themselves in the nostalgic yet timeless style of turntable's heyday. The sound quality is great for the price (shown in the video), and the product includes many extra features. It has Bluetooth, USB, and AUX connections as well as a remote control, but my favorite feature is the FM radio feature. I haven't had a turntable with the ability to tune into radio stations before, and I'm not commonly a radio listener, but this product converted me to discover what local radio stations have to offer.     • Wanted so badly to like it - and it is "ok" but cannot fully recommend due to bad sound quality
I so badly wanted to like this turntable. I'm not a true audiophile, but I have a few dozen records (mostly 80s pop) that I like to put on from time to time, and figured I would try out this unit as a replacement to my $10 Crosley that I bought at a Goodwill and have used for the last 5 years. That one has started having issues playing 45s, so I thought I would "upgrade" and get a new one. Also, I play the turntable through a better stereo system (just a very low-end home theater system that sounds so much better than the tiny built-in speakers). So I tried out two of these players. The first one hummed a few seconds and then permanently died. Amazon replaced that one promptly, and so this is a review of the second unit I received. It looks really nice. The top foldover cover pops right off (which I needed for my bookshelf situation), so that is a plus. The unit has RCA plug outputs on the back and a headphone jack on the front as well as physical volume control. The built-in speakers sound ok for what they are, but not as good as say an Echo Dot device ... so not great. I planned to use the RCA outputs the same was as my previous unit, and when I fired it up I realized that on this unit you need to turn the volume way up, meaning that you will hear the sound from both the speakers AND the RCA outputs (to your stereo), which is just not tolerable. But I thought I had the perfect solution: use the headphone jack and hook up a headphone to RCA output cable. That worked fine with my home stereo system, and as expected when the headphone jack is used that disables the built-in speakers. So I thought I had found my perfect solution! And then I decided to play Purple Rain, and some of the vocals sounded really washed out and harsh. Thought maybe it was because I hadn't listened to any records for a while, but the sound quality was so bad that I was not enjoying the album. So I decided to switch back to my old Crosley for a quick comparison, and yes my cheapie Goodwill Crosley sounds WAY better (much closer to CD quality, versus "crappy FM radio" quality of this unit"). So in summary, I am sticking with my old turntable, and this new one will be donated (yes you guessed it - to Goodwill). If you just want a basic turntable and just plan on playing it for background music using the built-in speakers, this one is fine for that purpose. But if you want to actually listen to records and are remotely picky about sound quality, then look elsewhere. ... show more

It worked fine for almost a year. Sound was decent for the price. Looks are fine. Now, all of a sudden, itโ€™s playing slow. It starts out fine, but about a song into the album, itโ€™s dragging, slows down & just sounds terrible. For the price, itโ€™s not terrible, but now, Iโ€™ve got to spend more for a new one. ... show more

I found my old albums from childhood & wanted to experience them again. This little player does exactly what I wanted it to do. No, it's not the best of the best sound quality, but it has reminded me of my very first record player in the 70's ... has really made me smile! I might invest in something more high dollar if I get into listening to albums again, but for now this little gem is letting me experience my youth again! Money well spent! ... show more
