This portable record player was to replace my other suitcase record player. This one is far better in sound quality. Has all the little features like bluetooth, and has the ability to hook to speakers, and this one has the ability to REcord records using the usb port. ... I haven't played with that yet... update when I do. The only thing I don't like about this player is that it's advertised as a "Suitcase" model, but doesn't have a handle? I can't carry it around like my old one, that has the suitcase handle. On that note, I went by the title of the advert, and didn't really dig too deep in the description, I just "assumed" because it was called a Suitcase player, that it was designed like a portable suitcase, I would have been fine even it it were a strap like handle instead of the usual solid one, because the bad ass speaker is in the front where most brands put their suitcase handles. So, for those of you, that are like me, and the handle is important please note that this one doesn't have a handle, the box itself has two suitcase latches on either side, though, to keep the box closed. I like 95% happy with it, it functions as it's supposed to (as stated I haven't played with the USB part yet), the speaker is loud and clear, has a bit more oomph to it, if that makes sense. The buttons are okay, did notice in the manual that it doesn't exactly tell you where the bluetooth switch is, if you're having problems with that, it's near the usb port. there is a button marked "M" presumably for mode, and it automatically is on "phono" for record, but if you push it once and wait a second it flashes "Lod" and then it beeps and "bt" flashes and it awaits connection. It connected very easily to my phone, haven't tried to to connect bluetooth speakers or anything like that. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. For the price, this is a great record player! Know that you’re buying an aesthetic player, not a technically advanced player. If you purchase this understanding that, you’ll be happy. It didn’t come with a power cord (at least my box didn’t) so I had to buy my own. That was the only thing I really didn’t like. Some other players will allow you to adjust tone and pitch - this one does not. I wish that it did, but again, for the price paid I really like this player a lot. ... show more

They gave you a spare stylus for the 45s and 33’s, but should’ve given one for a 78 also. cannot use the stylus provided for a 78 RPM record.
