If you ever used the pool patches and vinyl cement from decades ago, you’ll think you’re crazy trying to use this (or any product) made for patching pools. The cement from decades ago was much better and would adhere a patch easily and quickly for years. patching underwater was easy and again, would stay intact until the liner is replaced years later. Like a lot of years. However that cement was likely very toxic to people and the environment so this is what we have to work with now. I just needed to patch a hole above the waterline and had a difficult time getting the edges to stay down so it didn’t peel off immediately; I have no idea how you’d really effectively get this to work underwater. As soon as the glue hits water it spreads across the water surface. If it’s on a wall underwater - you’ll have get something flat you can press down on the patch to ensure the edges are securely stuck to the wall. You might have to hold it there for 5 or 10 mins. This will definitely hold the rest of the summer until the fall when we have to replace the whole liner; last years patches with a different product didn’t make it through the winter.

I bought this vinyl cement kit from Belfixinno and was pleasantly surprised. The adhesive is very strong and dries quickly, making it ideal for repairing PVC, inflatables, canvas, or even swimming pools. I liked that it comes with everything you need: gloves, clear patches, a paintbrush built into the lid, and even a piece of blue material for larger repairs. Overall, a very good product! It does what it promises and is excellent for emergency repairs.

I loved this glue! It’s super easy to use thanks to the little built-in brush, and it sticks really well. I used it to fix an air mattress and a tarp, and they’re like new now. Definitely something good to have at home for any emergency!

I bought this product because it had a small leak at the bottom of my pool and this vinyl cement worked very well to seal it. This glue creates a strong and waterproof bond. The repair was easy to do, you have to take into account that because it is a glue it takes a while to dry completely, but in general it works perfectly

Review of ”Vinyl Cement with Brush, Waterproof PVC Cement, High Strength Vinyl Adhesive...": (Please refer to my reviewing guidelines at the bottom of the page). Unlike other vinyl adhesives that I've used, this adhesives directions state that you should apply it to only the patch surface and then immediately press the patch over the repair area and keep it pressed for the 24 hour cure time. It seems to work well doing that and after the cure time it appears to have adhered well. I normally use H66 vinyl adhesive which has you apply to both surfaces like a contact cement and wait until it is tacky before pressing the pieces together. I am eager to see if this holds up as long and is as durable as the H66 because it is somewhat easier to apply. I've done a bit of market research on Amazon for this specific type of product and find that the current price of $16 ($3.63 per ounce) is a bit on the high side of the pricing range, but if it's just as durable as H66 it will perhaps be worth the added expense due to the ease of application. I am assigning four stars to this product because of the application ease as compared to other vinyl adhesives. I would assign 5 stars if it were more price competitive.
