I assembled it myself, would have definitely been easier with a second person to hold things while trying to screw them together. All the parts were easy to identify, nicely packaged and intructions were simple. Seems pretty sturdy and doesn't make any noise or shift when I move around.

I assembled this bed by myself in almost 2hrs probably would have been built a lot faster if I had a helper. I’m in love with it I would give it a 4/5 in sturdiness and 5/5 in presentation looks exactly like in the picture. **PET OWNERS BEWARE** I still stand by my original review I love the bed frame but recently one of my cats suffered head trauma and has been suffering from cluster seizures from running directly into one of the many steal bars holding the bed up. Obviously this was a total freak accident but if you have hyperactive pets I absolutely ask you to take caution when considering this bed frame. ... show more

A little difficult assembling with two small Allen wrenches but my friend and I put it together with relative ease and we’re both blond so… I’m a single gal and it doesn’t get much of a workout but the one time it was put to the test it held up very well. The box arrived damaged and I was worried the bed frame would be. But everything was fine. Putting it together took about 1.5 hours by myself. A second set of hands would probably be useful. Was really pretty put together and is sturdy so far. Mattress felt the same as it did on the floor.
