If the vacuum doesn’t work, please check diaphragm especially of the diaphragm mouth inside see if there is a gap inside and check if any small rock stuck in the diaphragm. 5.Any damage to accessories within one year can be contacted to the seller for reissue If you see that the diaphragm is gapped, then the suction will be poor. Then press it inward. Pull the other side of the blue tube that connects to the diaphragm up, in order to make the diaphragm close more tightly While pushing the blue tube down ,tighten this nut. If the diaphragm is closed as in the picture it is normal. NOTE: If the vacuum doesn’t work, pls follow these suggestion: 1. Please check diaphragm especially of the diaphragm mouth inside see if there is a gap inside and check if any small rock stuck in the diaphragm. 2. If suction is too large or small, need to adjust the regulating valve. 3. If vacuum stop work when it reaches the surface of the pool, you need to adjsut regulating valve and adjust suction lower. 4.The vacuum requires at least a 3/4hp swimming pool pump or 1600ghp to function properly. If the pipe disconnects when the pump is turned on, check that the pipe joints are fitted tightly, then check for blockages, and give the cleaner a good unclogging if there are any. Problem: This vacuum does not move or has no suction ●Check your pump, this vacuum requires at least a 3/4hp swimming pool pump or 1600ghp to function properly. If the pump power is too high, the cleaner will suck the pool floor or other places, if the pump power is too low, suction is not enough, the cleaner will also can't work. If the pump power is as required, suction is still too large, you can adjust the regular valve (parts I). ●Check the diaphragm. Check diaphragm for damage. Or open the cleaner to see if the diaphragm is closed. The diaphragm should be closed when not in operation. ●When adjusting the regular valve(parts I), if the cleaner suction is large, you can open the regular valve to disperse the suction. If the suction of the cleaner is too small, you can close the regular valve and let the suction all pass through the water pipe. ●Be sure to fill the pipes with water. There must be water in the hoses and cleaners, and no air in it. If there is air inside the water pipe, it is also can't work. Problem: This vacuum doesn't work. First, the hose must be vented first and there must be no gas in the hose and you need make sure the hose in no leak and the pressure is normal. ●Check if the pump is ON and / or primed. ●Check Cleaner head for blockages. ●Clean and empty pump basket and empty skimmer/weir basket. ●Check the diaphragm. • Fights algae, cleans the pool, amazing gadget
Color: Navy Blue&White
As summer comes and the temps heat up, we've been fighting algae blooms; This keeps the pool bottom clean and helps get the debris which falls to the bottom into the filter and out of the pool. Adjustment of the bypass is required to ensure it works properly and doesn't overly stress your pump/filtration system. Super easy to set up, and in 15 minutes it was bouncing away... A few hours later the pool bottom was clean. Compared to the $500+ robotic vacuum the wife purchased, this $90 vacuum wins the prize. Why be stuck with a tiny basket when you already have a large filter? The robot did great for leaves but not so well for small debris. Only wish I had seen the $10 additional option to get 4 extra sections of hose before ordering... ... show more

  • Very good for it's price if you have a strong pump
Color: Navy Blue&White
Set up was very easy and hassle free. After a quick assembly I set the pool vacuum loose in our fiberglass built in pool. We have varying depths plus steps and seats. The Vingli climbs the walls, and does a very good job with leaf debris and bugs. It takes about 4 hours to completely clean a 16x34 pool. I added an in-line leaf canister to keep the pump basket clear of debris. Couldn't be easier to start and works very well. Dirt and sand are not an issue for this vacuum. I have been using it for several weeks and am delighted with its performance and cost effective price. ... show more

  • May not work when solar heater is operating. May not work when solar heater is operating.
Color: Navy Blue&White
We just got this item on Oct. 20, 2022. It replaced my third or fourth Zodiac Baracuda G3, which is the model of cleaner I've used exclusively since our pool was constructed Jan. 2004. This VINGLI is slightly more than 1/3 of the price of a replacement Baracuda. Replacement for the currently defective Zodiac part actually cost more than the entire VINGLI cleaner system. The VINGLI box contained a number of items, including eight normal male/female hose segments that were noticeably shorter than the ones I had in place. I left these in the box. I attached the cleaner to the Baracuda's existing hoses. It worked well, as energetic as the G3 was on its best day. It did not work, however, when I turned on the solar heater. Within a couple days, it wasn't even working with the solar heater turned off. It would begin to work, whenever I turned the filter on, and then stop within a minute. I replaced the old hoses with the shorter hose segments that came with the cleaner. They are the same diameter as the original ones, but, for some reason, the cleaner now appears to work normally, with all 8 of these standard VINGLI hose segments attached, and it exhibits that original liveliness. I'll have to wait a few days to see if It is actually cleaning. It still DOES NOT work whenever the solar heater is in use. The solar heater is a valuable component in our pool system; it maintains our water temperature for months, and makes burning the gas heater only necessary for half a dozen times each season [spa use notwithstanding]. Using the solar heater increases the indicated pressure in the system by about 10 pounds, which might have some affect on the cleaner, but I don't know why. For now, the only solution will be to run the cleaner without the heater, and let it idle during hours of heating. This, however, will increase the total time that the filter is in use, and, consequently add to the cost of my electric bill and take hours off the lifetime of the filter pump. Without any other solution, I will be forced to accept this less than inadequate one. Never in the past, has the use of the solar heater had any affect on the operation of the Zodiac Barracuda G3 pool cleaner. I can't figure out why it should affect this cleaner. ***UPDATE 11/04/2022: I have been in touch with the manufacturer, through Amazon. VINGLI were anxious to resolve my issue, and I already received a replacement days ago. The replacement was obviously a used item, probably returned by a previous customer, and shows some defects. The collar that holds the foot is deformed, and the foot will not seat properly. The ring/wheel that snaps on to the cleaner is bent, it is not a flat circle like the original. Today, I tried running it, and it won't work at all. The original one still works fine with the solar turned off, so I guess I have no choice but to continue using it. My intent in contacting the manufacturer was to get technical advice about the solar heater issue so that it could be resolved, but their feeble response was to send one of their defective returned items to me. There is every possibility that I can make some kind of adjustment in my equipment to correct the problem, and I will continue to explore that possibility - just not with the assistance of VINGLI. At least, as of November 6, it appears to actually be cleaning my pool effectively! ****11/9/22 Update: My pool man was here today. He made an adjustment to one of the automated valves, and the cleaner worked with the solar heater running. But our test was only for a few minutes while the pool guy was here, and he readjusted the valve to its previous setting until next year's swimming season. Until then, I won't know if it will work for the hours per day that the heater needs to run during the 4+ months the pool is in use. For now, I'll increase my rating to 4 out of 5 stars. *****12/26/22 Update: The cleaner runs for a short time when I turn on the filter, and then it quits. However, it is set to run for a few hours overnight, during periods of near-freezing temperatures. In the morning, when I check it, the VINGLI is usually not running with the filter on. But, the pool is clean, indicating that it ran well enough during the hours of darkness get the job done. ... show more

  • Great unit for the price!
Color: Light Blue&White
I had a Zodiac Baracuda for years. I didn't want to spend $400 to replace it since it finally died. This Vingli unit was $90 and it is working great so far. Actually, I like it better than the Baracuda. If it continues as is then I say it is a terrific unit at a great deal.

  • Great value automatic pool cleaner
Color: Navy Blue&White
I bought mine in 2020. That’s 6 years. The only problem I had was the diaphragm has to be replaced maybe once a year. The suction needs to be strong or it won’t walk. And the hose sections deteriorate from the chlorinated water because I leave the vac in my pool most of the time. I see this model is much lower price than I paid 6 years ago. Warning: it does require a little debugging when it doesn’t work. Did it suck in goggles? Did that break the diaphragm. Is the pump basket clogged with leaves and suction light. Did the diaphragm get disconnected inside the unit. Otherwise it works like a champ. ... show more

  • Might be great in some pools Might be great in some pools
Color: Navy Blue&White
In some pools, this might be an ideal and affordable vacuum system. But it would not work for my fiberglass pool, and I had to return it to try a different type of vacuum system. In fairness, I've had two other suctions vacuums, and each had some problems and limitations. I have a dedicated vacuum port with a flow control valve at the filter system. The vacuum got stuck in the first 5 minutes with the bumper ring securely lodged against a protruding drain cover (video). Then within 30 minutes, it got stuck in a corner on the first step of the stairs (photo). Each required intervention to get it unstuck. I also tried taking off the bumper ring which solved the first problem, but not the second one on the steps. It scoots quickly across the bottom and occasionally climbed the sides. My pool has a toe step around about 2/3 of the pool which the vacuum could not climb over, so only a small section of the sides would get vacuumed. It could not climb past the second step and could not get onto the submerged lounge areas. I was also a bit nervous that the pulsating action of the vacuum might eventually damage the pool plumbing. I gave it 3 stars because it would not work well with my pool, and I didn't like the vibration going into the pipes. In some pools, it likely works much better. ... show more

  • Quality, reliable and does a great job

So far it is very effective and much quieter than the previous brands I have purchased. I like that it has a adapter that lets you control the amount of suction power.

  • Good Pool Vacuum; But It Needs A Strong Pump and the Regulator Did Not Work
Color: Navy Blue&White
This automatic pool vacuum does a great job once you get it to work. And that's the rub. If you tried this vacuum and it did not move, or stopped moving, read on. I have a 16x32 above ground pool with solid sides, a vinyl liner, and a "deep well" that is 2 feet lower than the rest of the pool. We use a 1 1/2 hp pump and a sand filter. We have used a genuine "Creepy-Crawly" in the past, but replacing it with another genuine CC seemed awfully expensive compared to this vacuum. The CC lasted 5 years and if I had to replace this vacuum every year for 5 years it would still be cheaper than the CC. I put it together per the instructions, filled the hoses, put it into the water, connected it to the pump suction, and nothing. No movement, no suction, and the pump started to cavitate. After ensuring that the hose was full of water I tried it again with the same result. But, when I removed the "regulating valve" it started to work correctly. I don't know if the supplied regulator is defective, but it will not work with the it in-line no matter which direction the control was turned. (Yes, I made sure the flow was in the correct direction) I also connected the hose to the skimmer via the port in the pool, not in the skimmer, as even the slightest misalignment of the in-skimmer adaptor caused the vacuum to not work. What I found was that the vacuum requires a strong suction source to work properly and that even the smallest air leak or other obstruction will stop it from working. It also stopped working mid-cleaning (a very dirty pool) and I found that I had to back wash the sand filter a couple of times to keep it going. At least in my pool it is not a "drop it in and let run by itself" vacuum. As I stated as the filter gets dirty it will stop moving and it can get stuck occasionally. But it does a great job of removing dirt from the pool including going up the side walls and into the deep well. I would definitely buy it again based on my initial use and the price. ... show more
