This was an easy to assemble bed. The bed is sturdy, and the headboard is pretty soft. The bed lays low to the ground, thats the only thing my daughter wishes she could change. You cant add a box spring, if you do it sits up so hi it hides the headboard

    • Quality of wood for mattress frame is terrible, didn’t last a month.

This item was easy enough to put together, but I knew it would eventually be a problem due to the wood type that holds the mattress. The frame and headboard it’s self is good, but only a few weeks after purchase the frame and the wood legs split in half from the large screws that it threads on to and the wood being such a cheap quality. The wood is just multi layered balsa wood it feels like. The horizontal boards then began to crack and split due to the legs no longer supporting evenly. I would double think this purchase due to the return window not being long enough to actually test the product without flaw. The quality is just not there on the wood slats which hold the mattress which is an essential part. It wasn’t to expensive but it shouldn’t be so cheap that your replacing it barely shy of a month of owning. ... show more

I like the look of it, the headboard itself is a bit flimsy. I helped assemble it and the person that helped me mentioned the holes didn't always align properly. It was affordable and I like the look. Do wish the feet were a bit taller but overall happy with it.

Very cheap materials, the wood is a step below actual plywood. But easy to assemble and sufficient for the price. I wouldn't trust it for daily use. But nice enough for a rarely used guest space
