Set up is a little tedious, but once the camera is set up, it works great! I originally received one as a gift to put in a room for my new kitten so I could watch her while I was at work, and I have since purchased 3 additional cameras to put in the other rooms of my house to watch my cat! I have had no issues so far with any of them. You can take photos and record video if you have the app open and are looking at the feed. If you want the camera to record video while you are not looking at the open app on your phone, you either have to get a sim card or purchase cloud storage in the app separately. I have not done either so I cannot comment on that. But for purposes of live viewing, they work just fine!

Works great, really awesome photo quality but lens was installed backward so I had to take it apart and flip the "eye" around. Once I did that, it was peaches. The voice speaker also didn't work until I took it apart and put it back together properly. The quality assurance process is apparently not great but the quality is there. Sucks that it doesn't come w/ a card & the "follow us on fb for a free month of cloud storage" was completely BS. This is the 2nd one I had purchased and I'm considering a 4th from Vimtag. I bought the outdoor one but the sticky couldn't handle over 100° (also no storage card) so it just sits idly by the front door, essentially doing nothing. I believe I can connect both to my computer for motion sensing alerts but why would I need that for my dog if I'm at home? Yet, still, I am likely buying one more because my puppy is getting more active in the house and I need eyes in more rooms. Vimtag, wanna give me a deal to continue to be a customer after you read this? Saving grace: the first one I bought (that linked seamlessly to my computer) actually showed me that my step-daughter was being sexually assaulted by her bio brother on day one of setting it up. I couldn't have paid enough to find out what was happening w/ 2 new children in my home. This was maybe 10 yrs ago, which is why I came back to this brand. My kids could talk to me through it if I initiated convo and I could keep an eye on them until I could get home. Not being able to communicate w/o dismantling and reassembling with this next order was a pain in whatever orifice seems most itchy. Pics show what I saw while I was at work recently plus the zoom quality. I no longer have kids at home but I have a 3 month old pup & a 10 yr old puppy. I'm not a crate or kennel person and I no longer have a fenced yard so keeping an eye is crucial. FINALLY being able to speak to my pet (again, after reverse engineering the improper construction of the product), I have been able to monitor his behavior while he is potty training and becoming familiar with his surroundings. If this came with a storage card, better instructions, or the actual free month of cloud storage for liking their FB, and was assembled correctly, I'd give it 5 stars. As it is, I give it 3.5. Vimtag, you really are great. However, deliver on your statements of storage or make it more clear how that is supposed to work, ensure that your QC doesn't leave customers looking for tiny screwdrivers to do YOUR job on assembly,

This product worked as I expected. I previously bought indoor camera with different brand called MIPC. This product worked as the same app. Vimtag is the different app, but I think they are the same in background. This product works only for WIFI with 2.5GHz. If you want to access the camera from outside of the house with only mobile data, you will be disappointed. I hope this product supports mobile data and 5GHz WIFI near future. However, if you can connect to WIFI with 2.5GHz, this works great. For my test, I connect open WIFI in the cafe(Panera) and hotel(Home2, Super 8, etc.), it worked great. I was able to monitor my house. Overall, for the price this product worked great and I highly recommend to others.

Yes this was great - I had no problems with it till this year / it disconnected and after communicating with customer service it seemed to be useless. I purchased it 2 years ago . I won’t buy it again. Customer service takes a day to reply by email- it was helpful.

Vimtag pet camera is an excellent choice and the camera has a sharp picture & setup was super easy .would buy that product again . Any problem with camera customer service answered you right away and was there to assist you with your issues .

Spend a little more money and get a good quality device!! When u talk back on the camera to your pets and/or kids it leaves high pitch feedback that they can't understand what you are saying as well as have to wait for the sound to stop before they (kids) can reply. I can even hear it on my end! With my cat, I talk to him and he is scared from the high pitch feedback. If I jus have a defective device I would like it replaced but if they are all like this then it's a complete waste of money!! I would like feedback from other buyers if they have the same problem..? Or the sellers to maybe help troubleshoot their product for me as I can never get a hold of anyone to help me. I would be happy to send it back and just get my money if all the devices do this

I have to share the positive experience I’ve had with this product. I bought this for my two year old for when he sleeps. He has had a few episodes where he goes into coughing fits, so this was appealing to me to have it trigger sound alerts. Easily pairs up with my phone. Picture quality is fantastic even in night vision mode. The setup is so simple. I bought this Aug ‘23, it stopped working in May ‘24, I chatted with tech support. They were quick to assist. The camera needed an update. They ended up just sending me a new one at no cost. This is a seller that cares a lot about their business and quality of their product!
