    • Quick fix for mounting plate and it was perfect!

Very easy to install wish the screws coming out of the plate into the light were a tad longer because my plate went into the box a little further than flush with the ceiling so I had to tweak it a little in order for the screws to reach through the actual light to screw on the ball that holds the whole thing up. Was only a pain because of that but after I realized it was because of that it was an easy fix and love it! ... show more

The install was fairly easy except that the screws for mounting to the electric box did not fit. So I had to get other ones, 8x32. My grandson and I did the install; was a good learning experience for him. Having two people makes it a lot easier because the fixture has to be held up while installing. A large S hook could have worked to hang the fixture on if only one person was installing. I had an S hook but was not handy at that location where we were doing the install. ... show more

I love the metal & wood look, very rustic yet modern. Wish we would have attached the cage to the base before installing. Always a good idea to read instructions first! lol That cost us some extra time but overall very worth it. Also, we chose to purchase the "used, very good" which was about $35 cheaper. I purchased two of these light fixtures to replace old round basic fixtures in my entryway. One was new, the other one I received you could tell was opened and packaged back up as the stuff wasn't in the right spot and one of the little spindles was broke. I did a return and promptly received a replacement. These fixtures look great and are quality. I purchased the bulbs at a local hardware store to complete the look. I love the look of this light! I installed it easily in about half an hour by myself. The rustic industrial look is great for my rustic and camo hunting room! I like that the bulbs are exposed not only for the look of the light but the amount of light given off in the room. I used two Edison style led bulbs equal to 60watt conventional bulbs.(I think they are only 4 watts each). Overall great light! ... show more

So happy with how this looks in our guest bedroom! I’ve slowly been redoing the room and this fixture just really adds to the look I’m ahooting for. We will definitely be buying at least two more for our other rooms. As for installation, I would say it only took about an hour.
