Autofocus is fast and accurate. Took it to Yosemite for a week and the pictures came out superb. Overall, great for the price. The lens feels solid. The aperture is a manual turn of the ring on the lens so you can't adjust aperture on camera, that took getting used to. all in all its a pretty nice lens.

Not bad at all for the price. I use it to shoot interior real estate photos for advertising properties for sale online and for commercial inspections. The quality is good enough for those purposes, but I would think twice about using it for more professional purposes. It does vignette in the corners, but proper lighting helps minimize that. Post-editing in Light room is also a solution. Regardless, though, at this price it's a great lens.

I bought this lens several months ago and have put it through some tough tryouts. For reference, I don’t usually use non Nikon branded lens. Several brands have really let me down, wanted my money. This lens is different. It’s light, well made, takes filters easy, it has the illuminated settings window which is super useful in low light and the aperture ring. I’ve grown quite fond of this lens and have used it in a variety of situations. Including desert sky/landscape, concert music festival, editorial assignments this lens has performed flawlessly and is a joy to use. I’ve paired it with my Nikon Z9 but I am sure no matter the camera it will perform just as good. The company packages it well and I can tell they take great pride in the manufacture of this lens, even though it is deemed a bargain lens. I will not hesitate to buy another lens from Viltox

Great value for the money. I needed a small lightweight wide angle lens for travel. The lens is plastic with metal mount. (Nikon similar lens has plastic mount). AF STM motor works great on my Z5 and pictures are sharp. Limited warranty only for 1 year. Time will tell how durable it is but so far I am happy with this purchase.

It's cool that this has a built-in lens cap. If one wanted to use this as a body cap, the case could be made for it, since you can easily open it and take a photo in a pinch I guess. However, image quality seems questionable. I get a lot of hazy, washed out dark areas. I have a Leica Q2 and am comfortable with the 28mm format, but of course it comes as no surprise that this is not Leica glass image quality. Autofocus is interesting to watch; the entire lens element moves in and out nearly silently. When not active it can kind of flop around, so focus can change on its own.
