Very sharp lens that focuses quickly and quietly. The lens resolves the 40mp sensor images very well, with nice color rendering. My only complaint is that I wish it had an aperture ring— that is only a minor quibble. A couple of test shots included. They are from my X-T50 (haven’t had a chance to test it on the X-H2 or X-Pro3 yet) ... show more

Big upgrade over the kit lens on my Fujifilm X-M5. The low-light performance alone has changed how I shoot. I used to push ISO up to 10,000–12,000 indoors, now I’m usually around 400–1000 in the same lighting, which makes a huge difference in image quality. Sharpness and overall rendering are noticeably better too. Even though it’s a fixed 35mm, it’s made me more intentional with my shots.
