  • Light and sharp
Size: 50mm f/2 FE (Sony)
This lens is incredibly light and sharp, with fast focus. It’s very well-made, and I’m very pleased with it.

  • Disappointing copy of this lens
Size: 50mm f/2 FE (Sony)
I got this over the og nifty fifty Sony version because I had a good experience with Viltrox on my Fuji. I liked the size and the weight. It made the camera profile much smaller and easier to put in my bag. Construction is all plastic. AF is quiet and when it DOES lock on to focus, it is quick. But a majority of the time, at least my copy, the lens would hunt a lot, no matter what F stop I used. Even when there was something that should easily obtain focus, it would hunt back and forth. I wanted this for more portrait pics of the family but the AF was so unreliable, I can't recommend this lens. ... show more
