Over the years I've had curling irons, curling brushes, blow dryers, etc and none of them were used in an abundance and since I have such thick hair and it's very curly I never thought to get a flat iron. I went on vacation with my cousin a few weeks ago and she pulled out her flat iron and used it on my bangs and I was like an ah moment. It's not like I'm going anywhere fancier or anything so I usually don't do anything but let my hair dry naturally but I've always had issues with my bangs because my hair is so curly and I have to keep wetting them to keep the curl in it otherwise it's just kind of stringy and gets in my eyes etc. I don't know what brand she had but I just knew I needed a small one so I went to searching on Amazon and I stumbled across this one and because it is purple, yes it caught my eye but it was also half off and I said why not. Well I received it and I plugged it in and the temperature on it said 370° so I'm assuming that's how hot it gets. So whatever degrees it is I know only that it heated up in less than 30 seconds. I did what ever with my bangs using this flat iron and I am very happy. I put the flat iron to my hair for just two curls and I was done so I'm unplugged it And I was afraid to set it down on the counter because I do have animals anyways I stood there and within 20 seconds it was cold enough for me to put back in the box It was barely warm. So that is just absolutely stunning! You honestly couldn't ask for better. Especially at this price. I could never pay $50 to $100 or $200 for any kind of hair implement. This is very lightweight, very much portable and traveling won't take up much room. It does come with a glove so you can make sure you don't burn your hand which I never used. The cord attaches to the bottom in a very different way. And this is what makes it great for traveling because the cord is not attached. So when you go to use it you have to push in on the bottom of the flat iron and connect the cord that way once you let loose it grabs it and it keeps it in place pretty securely and then of course reverse it to remove it. You just push the sides and it pops right out. Very ingenious if you ask me. I am very pleased with this flat iron and I'm even more pleased that it's purple and even more pleased than that because it was only $20 bucks. I will never need another one for the rest of my life. I definitely recommend this and I hope that you can get a good deal on it as I did because it really is worth it. And like I said it's inexpensive enough that you won't rate the bank. So if you're looking just buy it you'll like it. I promise!

I bought this item, out of convenience, the 2 in 1 feature was a huge factor was that contribute to this. Don’t have to heat up 2 different styling tools. I do like the fact that I don’t have to think twice about if I unplugged the straightener. The heat up time & long power cord is a feature I have wanted on others that claimed to have these features. As for curling I have nothing to say about this currently. I have short hair, and both my younger daughters have fine hair. I’ll have to update at a later time.

I recently had my hair cut into a short bob and my previous flat iron wasn't able to give me the lift I needed for the style of my haircut. I purchased this iron primarily because of the affordable cost. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. Not only does it straighten my hair, but it also gives it that little touch of curl at the end of my hair for fullness. It's easy to put together, program the level of heat wanted. My only issue is I can't turn it off once it has heated up, it needs to be unplugged in order for it to shut off. I HIGHLY recommend this product.

This is the best straightener I've ever owned. Better than my chi. It heats up in about 30 seconds. Doesn't tug my hair etc. Def recommend.
