Description

Shadow Cutlery has created this historical replica of the famous Viking and Norseman, Ragnar Lothbrok. This replica is based on historical models and axes found throughout the ages from Vikings and re-created here by Shadow Cutlery. This axe was essential in Ragnar’s rise from farmer to Earl, and from Earl to King. Guided by Oden and believing that his path was destined for greatness, Ragnar and his warriors raid and plunder across England and beyond. This axe was used in all his raids, and was the key to his victory over Earl Haraldson's for control over his clan. Ragnar's favored axe was rarely far from his side. The Axe of Ragnar Lothbrok has been weathered to look from the same era as the Vikings. This Replica comes with a cast stainless steel head with real leather cross stitch and grip and a Ragnar Lothbrok Plaque included. Specifications: Total Length: 25-3/4" Weight: 2.4lbs Wood Handle: Ash Leather wrapped handle Axe Head: 2Cr13 cast stainless steel Plaque: wood plaque

So Vikings is absolutely my favorite show ever made on tv, so to know that I could have a replica of the axe Ragnar used on the show was a no brainer. Its got a beautiful mount and is very sturdy, like real wood and the blade is real steel. That being said it's not something you are going to want to take out back and chop wood with, it's definitely a decorative piece. ... show more

    • Wow!!

The blade isn't sharp but definitely looks it - and could probably be so if one knew how. Bought it on the 25th and it literally came two days later so the shipping and delivery turnaround was super fast. It's a hefty piece that looks and feels like the real thing.
