This is an excellent bang for the buck. If you want something to play from USB storage or HDMI input on the go, travel, camper,or RV this is the unit you want. It doesn't have all the extra stuff you won't use traveling. No Wifi, no Bluetooth, and the price reflects that. The up and down auto keystone is pretty amazing you just point it at a flat surface head on and it will snap to a rectangle for you. It is plenty bright but in a very bright location it can be a bit dim. The fix for this is to move the projector closer, smaller viewing area but will be bright enough. The resolution is not fantastic but it downscales seamlessly. Do not expect this to be good for a computer workstation. Movies -> YES. But not for actual computer work. The built in media player is acceptable. It played 10gig HD mkv files with no problem from a USB hard drive. The player doesn't remember what you watched but will resume from the point you were in the last movie. I prefer Kodi and use a Raspberry PI 3 but the built in player is functional and does what it should. ... show more

It is a very nice little projector, very portable but you need to consider a couple of aspects before you buy it. First it is not a real Full HD 1080p of projector, it's native resolution is WVGA (854x480), when projecting from your PC in 1080 the image gets downscaled and loses quality which is very noticeable, so make sure you adjust your PC to the right resolution if you want to get a clearer picture, especially when showing text in the screen. The other thing to consider is the power source, this projector consumes 10W which equals 2A at 5V, most of the usb ports in a PC can't give 2A but just 0.5A, if you have usb 2 or 0.9 if you have usb 3 ports. The same happens with most of phone chargers. I made the mistake to plug the projector to the PC usb port and turn it on without letting it charge first, as the port couldn't handle the amount of current, the projector would turn on and off intermittently every few seconds, when I found out what was going on I turned it off and kept it plugged to let it to charge, that made it work. The projector doesn't come with a charger but only a usb cable, I suggest you get a proper 2A usb wall charger I got the Amazon Basics one, it works well. ... show more

This is a very good value for the price! 1, The built in Operating system and software with apps are MUCH better than other projectors have. SIMPLE, FAST, Easy to configure or add more apps. 2, JBL sound system is very clear and reasonably loud. 3,Connectivity is fantasting. Bluetooth connection is fast and has no delay with external BT speakers. Phone screen mirroring is easy. Both Android and IOS connects well compatible with many apps. Can use HDMI or USB connections too 4, Charging / Battery, battery lasts a full movie on full charge but can plug in to charger while you watch a movie 5, Screen quality. This is very good considering this is a 480p screen, with manual focus (but at least it works flawlessly). Auto screen adjustment is incredibly good. Screen brightness is ok, not the most bright but for the size and price of this it is great. In dark rooms ir works well. 6, Portability: Excellent! Fits in my pocket, lightweight, no need for tripod with the built in stance. 7, Remote is easy to use, however it has an IR sensor (this is fine, again for the price) so you have to point to the unit direction. I've used this projector in a classroom setting for almost 2 years. The size is a great for me, and the picture quality is good. Sometimes, it requires a dark atmosphere to work well, but usually it performs well at the lightning levels I'm in. My major dissatisfaction is the battery lifetime. At present, the projector starts and cycles off in less than a minute, and goes into a loop of starting and shutting down. I've been using a power bank to get sufficient energy to operate the projector. The buttons on the remote control are ridiculously tiny and I'm saying this as a person with small fingers. ... show more

    • Screensharing problems with iphone

Edit: The projector still worked with an HDMI cord and applications. Now these are things I noticed after around 5-10 hours of use: I got this projector hoping itll work wirelessly with my iphone 11 and ipad. When I got it, I noticed that the picture quality was great, brightness was also very nice even though the lights were not completely off, and the remote control worked fine. Problems arose when I tried screensharing my iphone/ipad with the projector. It did not work at all, even though I followed all the instructions. And sometimes it went back to the home screen mid-streaming a prime video or a youtube video. I ended up returning the product in hopes for finding a better one in the future. Cons: - screen mirroring does not work whatsoever with my and my friend’s iphones (iphone X and iphone 11) - the remote does not seem to work very well with amazon prime videos. Im not sure if its the app, but while watching episodes, the application crashes and brings it to the home page. - the brightness is not as bright as I hoped for, but it is decent - the battery dies very quickly Pros: - is very small and does not make much noise - size of projection is okay, and they are fairly clear (can read small subtitles etc) - good sound quality, I used bluetooth speakers, though, because its a little odd having sound come from one small spot when watching movies. I am giving this a one star because the main reason why I bought this was to screen mirror from my phone without needing a HDMI cable. ... show more
